I certainly liked the way you presented your point. The one big piece of advice however is you need to enunciate more clearly. I had to put on closed-captioning to help understand what you were saying half the time. Either your microphone is is blunting your syllables or you’re trying to talk in a way that you’re trying to talk in a style you’re not used to at too fast of a pace.

I wonder what that partnership with Sony really includes. Something tells me it’s more than just controllers. I’m all for it though. I know Apple didn’t want to push gaming on this thing, but why avoid that market? I think Apple knew Android XR and Samsung was going to go all in, so they had to jump in! I’m saying that as an Apple guy! This is why competition is good!

How difficult is it to get running from the PC to the Vision Pro? I have a GPD Mini with the new Onexplayer EGPU2 with the 7800m gpu. Just not sure the best route to go with ALVR or IVRY and then how to download/sync/connect. Love your videos!!

It's important to note that the developers of Resonite are working on the performance and stability of the platform as I type. They are working on separating unity from the froox engine. Once they accomplish this the platform will migrate to .Net9 which will make everything work a million times better.

I use Nintendo Switch controllers and have already played Half-Life: Alyx on Vision Pro via ALVR. It’s really cool!

Odd, thought I added a comment here last night but no sign of it this morning if it got struck because it talked about the cost of something. Streaming into the AVP is a magic use case, either Heleakala or BoraBora are a great place to game. I’ve been using a Zowietek 4K HDMI streaming box inline between my switch/steamdeck and the TV, it has pass through. Works great, I’ve not noticed any lag and means I don’t need any encoding client running on the deck.

Hey, for the best streaming performance you want to stream a Mac to Vision. Because it’s uses Apple proprietary Airplay there is 0 latency. I tried my PlayStation to Vision and the lag and frame drops were too much for me and ruined the experience. Mac to Vision though is butter smooth. Playing Switch games through emulators to Vision from Mac is amazing. Trying out Death Stranding next.

I'd kill for a tutorial on how to get my quest pro controllers working with this. I got everything working except for getting them in the right spot using the calibrator.

You can get this for free, just by mirroring your iPad to your AVP and use whatever drawing app you like on iPad.

100 percent! Moon player has become my most used Vision Pro App. I have a huge 3d blu ray library and over the course of this summer I ripped every single title using a program called dvdfab. Those 3d rips all look great on Moon Player and the best part is ability to drag the files into Moon Link and watch them via my M2 Macbook Air. I'm not sure how they do it, but there's zero quality loss. I tried another vr player called, Screenlit, and although it's great, you can only watch movies in mp4 or other apple formats. And when I created a plex server to watch movies from my mac on screenlit, the quality was horrible. Not sure if this was due to a settings issue but I couldn't stand it. To be fair Screenlit was the first to include 2d-3d conversion and that's essentially all I used it for, but I had to airdrop mp4 files to the vision pro to take advantage of it. The new 2d-3d conversion mode on Moon Player works perfectly with virtually any file type you throw at it. Alien Romulus in 3d was lots of fun. The selection of screen types is also really helpful and the 2d-3d conversion mode works with all but 1 of them. Moon Player is a must have for any movie and tv fan.

Would you happen to have grabbed the content release they did at the end of development? I followed this for quite a while and finally remembered the name of the project, only to find out that it has since been completely ended. I'd like to run around their playtest environment that they released publicly.

i hope they dont try to compete with VRChat. It's a loss for both! If there is a need for a creative VR environment, maybe resonite can fill that niche for creators and developers!

Yeah, the one, is a usefull product that can be used for VR, AR, Gaming, Desktop, Attached to a PC, attached to a Mac, watching movies etc, and the other one is Vision Pro.
