WOW, I can't believe you got those FDM parts to look so good!

Just got a Bambu A1 about a week ago and I’ve been printing primarily terrain so far, but this was really helpful. Didn’t plan on being able to print minis, but I am really impressed with how those turned out, and a test print I did yielded results I was quite happy with. Looking forward to trying out the smaller nozzle for some other miniatures!

I own the WAINLUX K6 Pro, it’s good when it works. Unfortunately the quality of the gantry mechanics are very low. It tends to make grinding noises and certain positions and if it’s engraving on those positions the image is messed up. The detail it can reproduce is nice though.

Was the PETG or the PLA light colored? I was watching SLS printer content... They use that grey colored Nylon powder because the 5 watt laser doesn't have enough umph to sinter a light color powder. It could be that the 3 watt laser doesn't make enough heat to char the top layer or two... like a grill needs to be 400 degrees Fahrenheit to make those nice grilling marks on a steak... oh geez I've made everyone hungry now... sorry!

I have the a1 and the 5m pro. As of now print quality goes to the flashforge. Only issue I’ve had with the 5m pro is the flashprint slicer. I use orca slicer. Problem solved.

Did you not print directly from the dryer while that's running? I have the A5MP and will soon print with TPU for the first time. 😮

You should use the principle : SHOW not TELL. You make a lot of arguments, very well explained ect ect. but for a review this doesn't show anything worth for examples of your arguments. All while this is a video format review.

Good video I hava 5m. Never had the pause issue? And all I use is wi fi. And I print every day for my business. I am looking into the bambu also

Great content dude, subscribed! I love carbon fiber PETG. Easy to print, better heat resistance than PLA for functional parts. I love that color. Until now I've only been able to find dark blue. Adding a couple of spools of the eryone to the stash!

I trust elegoo more than than any company because of the costumer serves center .. and Their cooperation with the customer more than other 3D printer company i think it will be my next printer 😊

Thanks for the comparison, but I think I will(someday in the future)bite the bullet, and get a resin printer. The difference is too much like day and night.

I want something that matches the Bambu X1 Carbon on features (including the MMS), is open-source, with a 350 cubed build volume and at least $200 cheaper. I'm willing to pay more for a 500 cubed volume at the same price as Bambu. It's also going to be interesting to see what Bambu launches next.

I'm excited for this printer but hopefully is right about making sure the printer was ready because the last few printers released had a lot of bugs and issues. I do disagree with you saying they need to have an AMS system to release. I think companies need to spend more time on QC and reliability over an AMS system. If a printer manufacture is having issues from day one on every release and the printer has a lot of failed prints, an AMS is just going to add more and more trouble to the users printing experience. I purchased the P1S then got the AMS later on, for 5 months I had zero issues with the printer and then I started having print failures using the AMS. The purge chute would clog, the filament wouldn't adhere to each other well, the quality of the prints are way worse when using the AMS, and its really been a bummer for me. I mean its great and the printer is still amazing but I think even Bambu needs to fine tune their AMS's.

Elegoo shouldn’t go on the multi colour BY/WITH AMS market, Bambu own’s it. And has it mastered. Elegoo has many issues with their last FDM printer like the orange giga, Neptune 4 max/plus I know many many people has no issues with this .. but has a fourth gen. We shouldn’t be seeing that level of issues on model printer.. Just like creality who’s lunching a new k1 version every 6 months when those first model have many issues. Copy paste my comment about the Neptune plus .. has a flagships printer, for a 1000$(cad) printer they should be flawless.. not have to flip is a side open panel and work the leveling manually because the printer is to bad to compensate… Be like prusa, focus on having the best, then try to innovate 🤦🏻‍♂️ Thanks for works! This was really helpful. I got the nozzle pack with my A1 because it was only $20 more so why not. I game in 15mm mostly so I'll definitely be using the .02, fine detail for my terrain in that scale.

After seeing what Bambulab's machines offer, and owning a Flashforge Adventurer 5m, I believe there isn't much more Elegoo can do. The Adventurer 5m calibrates the table and z axis automatically and is very practical. What elegoo needs is a functional, practical and beautiful operating system to compete directly with Bamboo.
