compared to Elegeoss Saturn 4 the M7 seems like a complete miss and out of competition

With the A1 + AMS being so close in price I cannot fathom how they think this is going to be competitive.

it is not close. it will never be over 500. Because AC is always on discount
The issue with their closed firmware, like on their kobra2pro and max model, the user can't make any changes. Its unfotunate, the ui is really lacking and they don't care. They just move onto the next product. I hope creality will be open source with their next multicolor system 3d printers. Done with any closed firmware, cant check if thermal protection is working correctly.
offically collaborating with pantone is a huge step into taking 3d printing mainstream. this printer is explains them abandoning the i3 mega lineup
I'm not sure what value the M7 Pro brings that isn't already on the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra for cheaper. I don't see the reason the M7Pro exists, aside from some gimmicks it doesn't even seem all that interesting compared to the M5s Pro. The Kobra 3 looks very interesting, 8 colour drying AMS boxes is neat. But Anycubic is on the fast track to ruin good hardware with bad firmware -- Kobra OS is just a crippled and locked-down Klipper, there is nothing original about it. I was hoping Anycubic wouldn't play games with the firmware, but it seems they've learned little in this area.
I believe the SV08 uses standard Klipper. To many models to keep track of now.
Hmm I wonder what the printing temp of the Kobra 3 will be. I have the original Kobra and was happy with my experience but its ancient and slow compared to these new printers. Multi color is cool but I enjoy higher mechanical properties from materials that require a higher printing temp.
I put a bimetallic heat break into a Kobra 2 to raise the temp limit.
I can't find anything about the build area on the M7 so I won't go near it.
It's 223x126x230mm. Not sure why they don't put that info front and center.
Ugh... AnyCubic's answer to the A1. The ACE Pro w/ the integrated dryer is nice but meh... Was hoping for a larger build volume.
I think there's a very very good chance we see the Kobra 3 Max a handful of months after release.
I think you are correct, my guess is $449 to stay under the A1 mini price with a larger build volume. It just needs to perform as well to be a winner at that price point.
I have the Anycubic Chiron, and all subsequent printers have been smaller than my 400 x 400 x 450

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean by "self prints removal".
@@FigureFeedback i mean like lets say your out of town and you want to print something and after it finishes there is nobody to remove it from the plate so you can print another model using printing queue or by wifi
so there is some solutions but not for ad5m like you can print a scraper that attaches to the extruder but there is no available for the ad5m
sad to the kobra 3 so small printing volume a skip not for me this is just toy people
locked down OS, count me out lol
