This is still one thing i am having trouble with. I can repair power rails, hdmi ports but never been able to do a retimer chip as it just never looks right, always looks lopsided, then some caps decide to run away on me and they just never sit back down for me haha

Nice video. I've had a difficult time soldering these wires before on sensitive flight controller pads. Tore so many pads off trying to heat and get these large gauge wires on. That would probably be a decent video to make, how to solder to pads on a circuit board without lifting/screwing them up.

I would recommend a wedge/knife tip for this type of work its a little more surface area and will melt the solder a little faster. Of course if you dont happen to have that tip or your just more comfortable with something else i wouldn't worry about it too much.

Love it my dude I sent a msg and tronics doesn’t do repairs. Where do you get the parts for all ps4 duel shock controllers and well I wanna do sone myself. Yet do you fix them … being a dad and working ya can understand. I do networking and servers and cyber. I love the precision in all tech applications. No matter repair or tear down or concepts created. Good stuff.

The xt90 connector on our golf bag cart is so difficult to remove and the wires keep coming loose. What connector can I replace it with that is easier to disconnect?

Good video but I would suggest the xt90 anti spark version for batteries to eliminate spark when connecting your esc

I have tried every troubleshooting guide I could find but my ps5 will send a signal showing that a device is connected through HDMI to my tv but nothing will show up. I’ve tried different chords, resetting my tv, making sure it’s connected to a tv that will run what settings the ps5 is putting out etc. I am getting some money together to send it your way here soon, I live over in Pendleton. Do you have an open shop for customers to come in or is it strictly mail in?

I’ve been having problems with my Xbox one S and i asked around and i had heard the problem causing all my graphical errors on my xbox is this hdmi ic chip. but i believe i had seen somewhere that xbox one s consoles don’t typically have this problem and it typically has hard drive issues. how would i tell the difference in what the problem is?

Do you only fix gaming consoles, or would you be able to fix a laptop? I've been looking to get the screen replaced on mine, but my local places are kinda bad lol. One place had my laptop for 2 weeks and every replacement screen they got was either cracked or they cracked it during replacement, so they ended up just losing money and giving me the laptop back with a new screen/display that's cracked lol.

The wall mount from Amazon is like $15 dude…

My wire cutters have a nice scorch mark from when I cut both wires at once. You'd think this was the sort of mistake a person makes only once. I know I've done this at least twice.

hey first off love the videos. I've always been into electronics. I have a stereo that my parents owned since before their divorce. they gave it to me I was 8 I'm 32 now. It recently stopped working as I tried to be break it down and clean it I notice some corrosion. Being as old as it is I'm sure it's a single layer board. I was wondering if you wanted to take it on and maybe even upgrade some of the components as a restore slash modern update project I'm willing to pay for the entire project. This stereo means alot to me do to the circumstances surrounding it. If you could take this on I would greatly appreciate it.
