Tales & Tails
Приєднався 24 січ 2013
Tales & Tails is a by-product of lessons learned and things gathered while traveling down the road of life. We should all be on a journey to be a better person. Humans are unique in the ability to share our experiences through stories. Its not about being a perfect person, but striving to be better than you were yesterday. I try to remember that no one is better than another, we are all flesh and bone and all need help or encouragement at times. My goal is to remove the negative stigma associated with failure. Some of my biggest accomplishments have been on the heels of failure.

Traditional bowhunting from Redneck haybale blind
Переглядів 210Рік тому
Ground hunting for whitetail out of the Redneck haybale blind for the first time. I got this to be able to hunt with the kids, family and friends. My oldest son was not feeling well today so I went alone and it worked out. I am hunting with a Damon Howatt Mamba. My arrows are surewood shafts douglas fir with grizzly 200 grain glue on single bevels. This is a killer setup, I thought the shot was...

Watch (ONE STICKING) for the newest way to one stick. It's safer, easier, and quieter.
lets say i wanted to start training my Plott Hound in blood tracking this summer when there is no hunting no blood and feet, Is there anywhere to buy training material- blood feet?
How tall are you?
How did this hold up? Im about to make a 4'x4' layered target with this, regular foam board and shop floor mats. The materials are 150 bucks so if I can get 3 years out of it I will be happy.
I hope you cleaned barrel before first shot.😅😅😅😅😅
Good video 👍
Good looking setup
WTF camo is awesome! I have been wearing this camo for two years. I have not Been pick off. Give WTF a try.
To test your dog for real you want to have one of your friends put them shoes on and walk around the woods and so you don't even know word actually is and then you definitely would know your dog isn't picking up your scent off your legs and things that are getting brushed against
Does that big top step get in the way of your knees when you're standing on the lower steps?
It's ASAT on mushrooms 🍄 😂
7m video 3m in and its not even out the bag yet... 2m testing. annoying.
Good job! Well documented and laid out
Good boy!!!!
Get a ghillie for that ⌚️
It seems that if you just poured all the meat from your tote into the upper bin of your grinder that you could just slide the amount of meat down the chute into the grinder as needed both faster and easier than continuously reaching over to the tote and dropping individual piece in. Impressive machine though.
Dude really you couldn't pick a time to make a video when you're dryer wasn't running It is so annoying and stupid and distracting I guarantee you all the people that clicked on your video did not watch it to the end I guarantee it it's too annoying matter of fact I watched 3 minutes and 35 seconds of it and I'm gone dummy
Nice setup, but lose or cover the watch, the reflection gave you away.......🥴😎😁
Been using climbing stands for 40 years and have been watching a lot of videos on saddle hunting. I see the saddle setup is a lot less weight than lugging a climber around the woods, but it looks to be a lot slower than a climber to get up a tree. So my question is, do you get faster the more you practice with the saddle or is it normally slower to get up the tree than a climber? I’m considering an EWO ultimate platform with the aider and the one stick method.
Yeah it gets a lot faster and easier. The first time used the one stick method to hunt I was agitated and sweating my butt off. I was always worried about forgetting something or making a big mistake, ruining the sit. You'll know you've practiced enough when you can do it in the dark calmly and with confidence. There's also a lot of little gear tweaks you'll learn along the way that will make life easier.
I saw some other videos you have posted and they were from a saddle. How often are you using this ground setup? Where i hunt there are not as many climbable trees and i have been thinking more and more about using a setup like this.
Now buy some different color and different size ribbon… and cheap jute and weave a bunch of braided fishing string all through it so you can shove natural stuff all over it. “The best camo in the entire world is always all around you”
That horn that you’re putting the bag around… Is that an adapter do you have to buy separately? Or does that come with it?
It's a stainless steel 2" stuffing tube and its sold separately
Are those bags paper? They sound like paper
Thank you for the video!… You’re happy with the output? You don’t wish that you went to a three-quarter horse? Or one horse?
I went with the 0.75hp and have no regrets. Did 3 elk this season and I'm very glad I did the LEM 0.75HP

Good video Florida room ceiling roof work tear on job site but it was give
Ghillie suit nah, just camo work alot easier, just be still, move slowly
Seems unessesary what 4 climbing sticks at 4 pounds I just fine seems like a joke
Like it, ordered one for my bow hunting. I have seven recurve bows I use for various hunting styles. I like Flu Flu archery as well and will see how this works for that. Thanks for the review.
Good content. Poor camera work. That ruined it for me.
I might try that Waldrop chair. Our set up is very similar. I currently use a turkey seat with a ghillie and shoot the recurve with a slight cant to clear the ground. It works pretty good especially once you practice and work out the kinks. I’m certain the Waldrop offers a better shooting experience being higher off the ground.
How long does it take to get it
What quiver did you say that was?
I grind my deer and pork separately then mix them together with my seasoning with a little water added. You will get a better mixture.
act like it's your first time butchering a rabbit
Ordered a Waldrop last week..gonna hit the woods with my Supermag48 and my Pac seat soon! strap my rucksack and netting to it..be gone dawn to dusk..
How long did it take to get your Waldrop seat?
Who made the ghills suit
I love it!!! “You’re the man dad” priceless
Awesome hunt! Keep it up and you will smoke one with the stick bow!
So what are your thoughts so far since u first hunted in it ?
Please wear a mic on future videos, it would be helpful to hear everything you are presenting.
I'm a gun owner and of course pro Second Amendment but wondering why you carry around your fire arm while building an archery target? By the way, I use Foamular also for my archery. Works well.
Don’t remember but I’m sure there was no good reason. I rarely even carry anymore.
@@shareTNT I thought maybe on your property you can shoot firearms and maybe you were going to shoot the fun after you finished your archery target.
@@jamesgretsch4894 that is a strong possibility, I just can’t recall.
A pistol on my hip when home and concealed when I am out and about is like a seatbelt (always wear it) or fire extinguisher. I never want to use them but when you need it you need it. You don't get to pick the time or place when it is needed.
The greatest climb-job that I ever see.
Thankyou
thank you for the video. love the color of your brine.
Thank you for the kind words!
I use almost the same set up. Iv taken a pile of deer from my waldrop seat
So much contamination on those bags it makes me wonder why you’re even wearing gloves?!
😂
Why do you say the bags are contaminated??? Odd I order bags what should we be using?
@huskaoutdoors333, do you think it's worth the money? Do u grind a lot of meat? I do 100lb plus year.
@crystal82dawn try a bigger grinder I have a 22 it works awesome but I butcher 3 hogs a year and 20 to 30 deer
@@crystal82dawn He is implying because he is touching the meat, then the bags, the bags are contaminated. If you are worried, after sealing the bags just wipe the outside off with a disinfectant.
Nice job champ what type of bow string material are you using on the Montana?
Thanks, I just switched to a Dacron string that I got from 3 rivers
Nice video! Thanks for sharing the passion ✌
Thanks so much!
