Vegas or not you’re a couple of hogs

I think that if you are using MyVegas points to redeem for the 2-day free comp rooms, you should stay at a higher resort and casino like Aria or Bellagio for MGM properties because sometimes, staying at NYNY, Excalibur, or Luxor, you're paying more for the resort fees for a 2-day comp versus the high-end Aria or Bellagio. I mean free rooms are not really a scam since you're not paying room rates. but still save a lot than paying regular room rates. it just takes time to accumulate loyalty points unless like you said if the person staying is a high roller gambler then those resort fees can be waved.

FYI no one in southern coast area gives a crap about clam chowder, its for the snowbirds only, Has nothing to do with how good the seafood is, but this is a great joint. Also should have done a review of the seafood market down stairs

I find it silly how people are trying to correct them for pronunciation of words. I have a southern accent(Oak Grove, Kentucky) deeper than the Deep South and so what how the word is pronounced. By the way, Beignets needs to be spelled Benyays not Big Nets.😂

I bussed tables at Jerry's late 70's. Jerry would make his rounds every morning inspecting booths, coffee makers, countertops. We would go in after partying at night and double up on the 49 cent breakfasts, and just have a huge plate of food for a buck! Good times...

Good video. I've been to Vegas dozens of times, but only once since Covid. I'm overdue for a visit. A good place to stay, that is in the middle of the strip and not too expensive, is TI. Across the street from Venetian/Palazzo, and down the block from Wynn/Encore. The Wynn is my favorite resort in Vegas. I get comped there all the time. Though I don't care for that pool area because it feels like you're in a fish bowl since people can see into the pool area when you're walking through the hallway between the Wynn and Encore. I saw on the news that the Venetian/Palazzo properties were getting a $ 1 billion renovation. Do you have a favorite buffet? My favorite was the one at the M Resort, but it never reopened after Covid. Thanks.

My wife and I are from the UK and.have been to Vegas many times, we absolutely love it. We got.married here and spent our honeymoon here it is by far our favorite destination. Also I am a veteran also I was a royal marine commando and often done exercise with the US Marines so semper Fi brother and also per mare per terram. Look forward to your next video.

It's a good question. When os it a Scam? As you say, Resorts-, Parking fee, tax etc. You're going to pay something anyway. Room upgrade is another good question. Especially when we're talking about room on higher floor. Frontdesk often say, we have upgraded you to higher floor. When have you ever seen same room type have different room prices depending on what floor they are in? I would love to see the Resorts removing the fees and only give the total room rate every day. That would change people's perspective on when it's a good deal .. The offers are hiding behind the fees and no matter what there is some kind of payment 😊 but if you remember nothing is for free, it's just a matter of enjoying the stay.

The purpose of the bottle cap like that, is to cover it when your not drinking from it...

I'm a gold member with MGM and all my rooms are always comped and I pay no resort fees with the gold status so my rooms cost $0 but I did lose money to obtain the gold status gambling. lol

I have never been to Vegas but it sure looks like a fantasy land. I guess this time of the year its probably pleasant temperature wise. Seeing the scenes and the streets within the resort are really cool. I was disgusted seeing the lack of cleanliness in the tub though. Otherwise it looked really fun.

For myself, the best way to find out about good food options is to watch other's videos from Las Vegas. Jacob's Life in Vegas is a cool channel and he has many food videos.

The deals are no longer great, they have jacked up the prices across the board. Speaking to the servers I found out that a lot of the locals who regularly visit have stopped coming or have drastically reduced the amount of visits to this place.

Sea food on the coast is mostly deceiving, you expect its local fresh fish. Mostly not. Your getting mostly frozen commercially available off the back of the Sysco truck fish, fries and bagged soup. There are some rare places that do serve the best local fish but your not getting actual quality out of season. Crab season if you can afford $30-50/lb crab is amazing. Stick w the local rockfish, as any salmon you get is dyed Atlantic frozen crap, unless your paying $45-65 per plate for Chinook from up north. Oysters are not a local item in most of Oregon. Don't waste your time, I've actually been served Jared oysters on a clam shell as fresh on the half shell. Beware of small towns on busy weekends. They never have enough stock or help.
