- Can you believe it's still possible to get a cheap steak in Vegas? We wanted to find out if the rumors about Poker Palace were true and tried the 16-ounce T-Bone dinner at Maddy's Cafe. We were too early for the prime rib but discovered that they also serve breakfast all day with a great deal on a NY Steak and Eggs! The atmosphere was lacking but the food was great!
We love to travel and explore food. Come along with us as we sample new cuisine and try many local and regional corporate restaurants.

Go down the street to the bighorn casino and they have a really good country fired steak for like 7 bucks. The longhorn has the same cafe but is on boulder highway, and the cafe is bigger. The bighorn is super small and waiting can suck sometimes so I go to longhorn even though I'm in Northtown. Both places are great spots to eat at local prices.

Great video! My guess would be the cap is for the lime when you are done squeezing it. Tear the cap off, put spent lime on it, easy grab for the server to clear. When you hold your fork out with the food on it, put your other hand behind it, palm out, and the camera can focus on the food and not Paul's shirt. My wife was born and raised in philomath next to corvallis and I lived up there for 4 years. We'd head to Newport almost every weekend and get lunch at Mo's since it was only a 45 minute drive.
I LOVE how she chose breakfast!
Only thing I would change is I would've gone for the T-Bone.

Pretty good prices there, and the food looks quite good. Gotta say I think the steak(s) are a bit on the raw side. I always ask for Medium, and then if underdone they're med-rare, and if over-done they are a tad dry but nothing too much. RE: The sides....... Best to just ask for tomato slices. Somewhat of a Southern thing; but it works with steak really well.
Crispy hashbrowns! That's my favorite! Both steaks looked great! I prefer under salt and pepper, I can always season to taste.

That's definitely not medium. I would assume you're going off of the fact that the myoglobin isn't leaking out that it's medium, but the outside layer isn't cooked enough for that. It was probably on the grill for about ~3 mins a side and they assumed it you wouldn't cut into it right away which would lead it cook through a little more.

WRONG ….thats definitely RARE. how in the world could anyone think that’s anything but. Actually if anything it was cooked incorrectly it was closer to raw than rare . They focused so much on the grill marks that they didn’t give it much time to even reach a true rare . Poor cook on the steak .

She was right,, it's a 100% rare. Who would think that would be medium rare? He apparently does not have steak often or is just ignorant about food . I've been a chef for 22 years. If you're going to literally do a food review, please be educated on food and how it's cooked. Someone sent me this video. I would *NEVER* recommend this channel as a "food review" to many wannabe food critics who have NO IDEA what they're doing, much less to review it. How cringe as most boomers are!
