A simple analogy: a highschool science book can be clear in language, structure and meaning and thus teach chemistry in a structured way which flows, but specific concepts can be difficult to comprehend in a deep sense despite the clarity of the book simply due to chemistry being more complex than what is explained in a highschool text book. The Qur'an is clear - it's message is obvious, but specific verses present concepts which may have abstract meanings which are 'unclear'. A pefect example is that the Qur'an clearly says "Do not say those who are slain in the path of Allah are dead - rather they are alive, but you perceive it not". The instruction about not grieving the death of martyrs is clear, but the nature of their being "alive" is what is abstract. Deviant sects use this abstraction as a justification to call upon the dead as intecessors with God, in contradiction to clear verses with clear implications to not call upon intercessors to reach Gos. This is an example of what the verse is talking about when it says "unclear verses".

First things first: don't believe anyone online do the research yourself, secondly: there is no contradictions, When Allah says it's a deitailed description of every thing(roughly translated), is way different than saying it's a detailed description of everything. You see when i give a lecture about a certain topic, like quantum physics, and at the end i say i hope i explained every thing precisely, you wouldn't now raise from your seat and demand 10 more hours of lecture because i forgot about dynamics and atoms and so on right? The right understanding would be that i meant everything i mentioned was clearly explained right? So when the creator of the heavens and the earth praiseworthy and exalted is he, says 1) there a clear verses which are the foundation of the faith and unclear verses, and 2) we explained every thing in detail. The second premise is following the first. To summarize my brother and i hope my answer is coherent and clear as english is not my first language, When Allah says we explained everything in detail, he is talking about the clear verses, every one of those are detailed and clear, not the unclear verses. Another point i wanted to mention, brother if you want to critique the quran and possible contradiction, if you are truthful, then look for someone to explain it in arabic and read the quran a bit more charitable. (In arabic the word for every ist kulli, which can mean every single thing or many in specific groups)
