When Jesus received this holy spirit FROM the Father , he never had a "spirit person" follow him around , it was power bestowed upon Jesus to perform miracles . Not to mention that again, any and all sins can only be committed against God, blasphemy is normally seen as an ultimate insult to the divinity of a given religion, there is not much mystery here.

If the Holy Spirit filling people proves that he is an impersonal force, then the god of the Demon's Witnesses is also an impersonal force because the Bible (even their corrupt translation) says God fills people. 1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time.+ If we continue loving one another, God remains in us and his love is made perfect in us.+ The Spirit dwells in us, and God also dwells in us. Does that make God an impersonal force? 1 Cor 3:16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple+ and that the spirit of God dwells in you?+ 17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.+ 1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your body is the temple+ of the holy spirit within you, which you have from God?+ Also, you do not belong to yourselves,+ 20 for you were bought with a price.+ By all means, glorify God+ in your body.+ Are we temples of God or temples of the Holy Spirit? You still have not explained "who and what was the Son before he was given life by God the Father?" @solascriptura1536: I conceded nothing because nowhere in that verse does it speak of the Son being dead or inanimate before receiving life. He GRANTED the Son to have life in himself, meaning the Son was already in existence before receiving that life. You clearly can't think beyond your script. Me: You're asserting that John 5:26, "For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself," means that the Son existed before receiving life from the Father. You're focusing on the phrase "life in himself" to imply that the Son possessed some kind of inherent existence prior to this "granting" of life. However, this interpretation is based on a theological presumption, not on what the verse actually says. It also creates logical contradictions. Here's why your logic is flawed: Misinterpreting "Granted": The key word in John 5:26 is "granted." This word implies a bestowal or giving of something that the recipient didn't already possess in the same manner. If the Son already had life "in himself," then the Father wouldn't need to grant it to Him. The very act of granting implies a change-a receiving of something new. Ignoring the Parallel Structure: The verse uses a parallel structure: "For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself." This parallelism emphasizes the distinction between the Father and Son. The Father has life inherently; the Son is granted life by the Father. Creating a Contradiction: If the Son already existed before being granted life, then what kind of existence did He have? Was it a lifeless existence? This doesn't make logical sense. The verse clearly states that the Father granted the Son to have life, implying that this life was something the Son received from the Father. Imposing a Preconceived Notion: You seem to be imposing the idea of the Son's eternal, pre-existent nature onto this verse, trying to make it fit within a Trinitarian framework. However, a straightforward reading of the text, without any theological assumptions, clearly indicates the Father as the source of the Son's life. Your interpretation of John 5:26 is an attempt to sidestep the clear meaning of the verse to support a pre-conceived theological position. Instead of letting Scripture speak for itself, you're trying to force it into a box that it doesn't fit.

@@mleo2003 OH ? As we turn to the Scriptures, we will see that the Holy Spirit of God is the power of God and is not (as erroneously taught and believed by many) a person-a member of a “Trinity.” The Holy Spirit is the powerful means by which the two members of the Godhead revealed in the Bible-God the Father and Jesus Christ, the Son of God-project Their will, Their influence, Their nature and Their creative power throughout the universe, including affecting the minds of human beings. Jesus told His disciples that they would be filled with power-spiritual power-when they received the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). On the Day of Pentecost God sent His Spirit accompanied by manifestations of great power that included a sound “as of a rushing mighty wind” (Acts 2:1-3). The apostle Paul was inspired to explain that Christians have been given this Spirit, and that it is not “a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). The effect of the power of the Holy Spirit in a Christian is to impart and develop a new nature, the divine nature, in his or her life-making of the Christian a “new creation” in the image of Christ’s character (2 Peter 1:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:17). The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as a “gift” that God will “pour out” on people (Acts 2:38; Acts 2:17). This is language appropriate to use in describing a thing, rather than a person. However, these analogies do not of and by themselves prove or disprove that the Holy Spirit is not a person. The proof comes from many other scriptures in the Bible. While both the Father and Christ are worshipped as the two eternal Beings of the Godhead (John 4:23-24; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:6), there is no instance in the Bible of the Holy Spirit being worshipped. This is appropriate, since the Holy Spirit is not a person, but the power of the two Beings: God the Father and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. They share a common Spirit and nature (Ephesians 4:4; John 10:30). If the Holy Spirit were a person, the apostle Paul certainly disrespected and snubbed “Him” by omitting the Holy Spirit in his typical greetings to the churches. He mentions the Father and the Son (Jesus Christ) in his greetings but consistently omits the Holy Spirit (Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2; Philippians 1:2; Colossians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:1-2; 1 Timothy 1:1-2; 2 Timothy 1:2; Titus 1:4; Philemon 1:3). The apostles Peter and John also greeted the brethren in some of their epistles in the name of God the Father and Jesus Christ, similarly not mentioning the Holy Spirit-quite a disrespectful snub if the Holy Spirit is also a person (2 Peter 1:2; 2 John 1:3). Here’s another puzzle for someone who believes the Spirit is a person. Jesus prayed to the Father (John 17:1), but His mother Mary was pregnant with Him as a result of the Holy Spirit: “She was found with child of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 1:18). That would make the Holy Spirit the “father” of Jesus, if the Holy Spirit were a person. This potential confusion of understanding is quite easily avoided by realizing that the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is not a person but the power by which the Father gave human life to Jesus in the womb of Mary.
