If you're car is misfiring it's the coil pack or packs and if your carbis older the distributor you can put mew wires and plugs in and it will probably run for a few days or more then it will start misfiring again if you beat on your car it could be internal or vacuum leak but for most normal drivers it's the coil pack going bad

50ohm wires are for msd boxes use the higher phm wires for your GM truck. Usualy use Delco...tried a set of Napa premium (Belden) wires they are pretty nice dont come apart or cost much and grease wont stick to them.

Glad I found this. I am using a 2" header. I have switched to the Accel wires with ceramic boots hoping for more durability and heat resistance as well as a high level of RFI/EMI suppression. I was a little concerned that they would have too much resistance but from your experience that does not appear to be the case. Power levels of our engines are very similar. Thanks!!

Any idea of the WFMC2201UC/13 washing machine? Mine just slowly spins sometimes, leaving me with a soaked load at the end of the cycle. Scratching my head here.

It would have been helpful if you had shown each ratchet/extension combo for each plug. Dielectric grease on the connections and anti-seize on the plug threads? Overall really good video-others show removing the cowl and wiper assembly to get at the plugs! You have made a dreaded project a hell of a lot easier! Thanks.

me out , I changed the spark plugs and wires on my 01 Carvana and after doing that my van has a ruff vibration at ideal or coming to a stop on red. I got a mechanic to clean out the threading where the spark plugs go and it keeps doing it maybe it’s the coils ? I also need an oxygen sensor maybe that will do the trick? If anyone has been in this situation help me out thanks !

you need to remove the front bolt all the way. Front horizontal First off, and rear vertical bolt (round part of control arm) First on. you're lucky you didn't break the front bolt lol.😉

Hows the van doing so far on these struts? Still holding up?

2,4,6 3,1,5 you say along the back .. But then you take all the wires off the back all at once did you notice that and you didn't put them back in the correct order watch your video again ...... and you pulled number two plug wire off and the boot the copper boot was left on the coil pack and you're using Snap-on tools ... you are A PROFESSIONAL in the field of amateurs I don't even have Snap-on tools .... It Startup huh those wires are bad if it was your car would you not have changed that out and cleaned up your woman's van for her it's a soccer moms van 😂😂😂 .... ... E-3 plugs ....

I've watched a few of these vids for this motor tuneup, and most guys doing it wonder why the plug wires/coilpack is numbered so randomly, when in fact, they are numbered according to the firing order from the crankshaft - there actually is a reason they're not just sequentially numbered 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Has anybody taken off the cowl screen and wiper motor to get better access?

I have to change my EGR valve, so, having the EGR pipe off should make it a little easier.

the ignition coil is most likely numbered that way because that is the firing order of the cylinders

No dielectric grease on the boots? No blowing out the sand/grit before removing the old plugs?

How much money do you save doing this job yourself.

The 2015 has the transmission closer. The bolt does not come out

Sway bar link easier to take of with a 18mm wrench and a T40 on a ratchet.

I always use PB Blaster and a torch.

Where is your power steering reservoir? On my 2002 T&C and in other videos it is mounted right above the coil pack. I'm assuming the answer is not "manual steering".

How are those control arms holding up after a year?

Did this same job on my 08 town and country with 118k. The hardest part was braking the nuckle bolts really tight. Helps to have an impact gun.

So does this vehicle not have individual coil packs on each spark plug?

You can try doing it like this, but you're better off detaching the wiring from the motor and getting the motor onto a bench. Fitting the new brushes is a fiddly enough job without having to do it in a confined space on the floor.
