Hi mom, I opened throttle many times for muffler sound check then swirched off the engine, restarted RPM went to 2000 on idle and unable to back 1000 RPM, I push throttle forward more than idle and idle back to normal 1000 RPM, after that rode and open throttle but no respond unless again throttle pushed forward and back to normal, do i need a reset as you suggested? I wouldn't buy a CVO because of the price. But you brought up a great point. I'm also in the IT industry and unless there is an exceptional agreement (which I doubt) with the vender that does the display software, the bikes are going be hard to sell in the next 7-10 years because the display is no longer supported. Unless someone comes up with a aftermarket replacement, which they might, the bikes are going to start disappearing.

But this did fix my code problem.

If you have a stage 1 with a tuner and do this. It will reset to default and you will need a re tune. That’s what I had to do. If you have your tuner Harley will re tune for 111.90 out the door.

You can reset any vehicles computers by disconnecting the positive and negatives and touching them together for 10 minutes. Then just reconnect them back to the battery. It causes all the residual power from the chips to drain causing the computers memory to empty and it starts from a factory setting

I tried these, wasn't impressed. I settled on a pair of Alpine Formula 1 ear plugs. 22dB claimed SNR reduction, but I can hear quite clearly still. It is amazing how so many look very similar as well, but the quality (of noise reduction and fit) varies greatly.

So many good spots to explore in Maine. Southwest Harbor/Arcadia area is beautiful and good for riding. You should also check out the Arcadia park loop road for some great views & picture ops. The Traveling Lobster roadside stand has some of the best lobster rolls going and i would suggest early June for visiting. Less humans out there. Keep on riding and thanks for sharing.

Harley-davidson is a classic American brand. Needs to be lead by an American. You need someone who understands the American customer, who purchases the motorcycles.

Plan on getting a new seat 1st. After that will be these Super Shox for my Street Glide. Might get a set for my sportster too.
