If all you do is local rides and poker runs, you need to condition your body to handle riding all day for several days in a row. Riding 4 to 5 hundred miles a day can start to take a toll on your body if you aren't used to it.
Ergos, ergos, ergos.... Bikes are basically made to fit the world's most average person. Most of us are taller, shorter, longer legged, shorter legged, etc. Bars, seat, pegs/floorboards, backrest... et all. I see a lot of folks make fun of cup holders on handlebars, but I assume they ride to the coffee shop and back. This time of year, having water at hand is super important. Love the video! My first ride on my current bike was also the longest ride on my current bike. I was able to make a u turn on dirt road on test ride. It was about a 2 hour drive home.
