Ni dash cams good work

I remember the days when Belfast was almost the epitome of safe driving. I couldn't live there now, for eevery time I visit, the standards have dropped consequentially. I ride a motorcycle, and every time I visit Belfast (as well as other parts of NI) I feel like I'm taking my last ride! The driving standards are now so appalling I leave my bike (or car if I'm taking family) at the hotel and use the local transport - it's much safer! When I Lived there during the 60's and 70's, driving in Belfast was a joy, and bad driving was not exactly non-existent, but it wasn't an everyday thing to witness; but, one really does take one's life into one's hands! I would not live there now for all the tea in China! Rush Hour is a real nightmare, and I wonder how commuters manage to live with it.

To be fair to the cyclists he is following traffic codes. He's one of very few cyclists who stops and waits at traffic lights and hand signals when he's turning, plus waits behind traffic. He could easily had just rode the pavement like most of them.

The man behind the white car on the motorway roundabout (definitely a man) has absolutely no patience or consideration for any other drivers. It's so obvious the white car is having problems with navigation. Drop to second gear and pull back. Tailgating and bumping your horn doesn't actually help the driver to think better. What a prick

At 5.55. The truck turning left. It is entitled to move to the right first. It is a large vehicle and doesn't want to hit the kerb. lights or other street furniture. Go look it up in the highway code.

I can sympathise with the motorcyclist. I am an avid motorcyclist and come against this type of incompetence time and time again. I’ve always loved my motorcycling but riding isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be…

The quality of driving has plummeted and peoples attitudes towards others basically stink. I hate driving nowadays.

Some are daft as a brush,some are not aware of their surroundings and some just don't care...add all that with a mobile phone and you have danger all over

The last clip emergency braking on a 60mph road is very risky because you also have a threat behind you, a car rear ending into you not expecting you braking that hard.

I despair for road safety in Northern Ireland. As soon as drivers get the test, what they've learned is forgotten and it's a free-for-all. Once drivers are in their cars, they become cocooned in their own little world and forget about the world outside. As a cyclist, motorcyclist and car driver, I've seen it all and it's just getting worse, as these clips show. Our roads aren't the problem, it's the drivers.

lorries and buses can split lanes if needed for turns. as for all the other drivers, Northern Ireland is full of self entitled pricks on the road.

Ik im 4 years late but phillips clips seem to happen to every biker in antrim, they never watch out, just earlier today i was near hit 5 times on the one road

Some of the drivers of the dashcam cars need to learn a little patience. And the learner motobike rider should absolutely not have been passing a car at a junction. For almost very obvious reasons. Better to avoid an accident than blame someone else for causing one.

I'm originally from NI and I can't believe the quality of drivers has dropped dramatically. I love in NZ and yes they're shocking to9 but unfortunately city driving everyone is stressed out so mistakes happen. What they need to do for be driver training is to cope with stress and concentration. These could be a form of tests instead of just getting behind the wheel or make drivers so a great 2 every 5 years or so. Keeps them educated and safe. Also a road role applicable in the UK vs NZ you can overtake either side on both lanes, it took me a while to realise that here but my first reaction was similar to the driver in the video haha

It’s happening because the penalties are not severe enough for these examples of poor driving standards, partially caused by poor quality driving schools and the renewal of full licences without the requirement to do a driving test - if someone is caught by a police officer, it should mean automatic seizure/confiscation of the vehicle, lifetime driving ban and blacklisted for life from getting vehicle insurance - no wasting time with getting it through the courts either, just put the details into the database and get these people off the roads permanently

Wouldn't call them stupid. Our emotions go up and down throughout the day and we all do things at certain times of the day that we wouldnt dream of at other times.

i love that you pulled over. In England they just drive by accidents. In Germany, i hear its the law to pull over if you are witness to an accident as I assume.

2:50 Edward St. Downpatrick. I've been down it a lot, it is rather infamous for being tight, especially during early morning and afternoon when kids are going to and leaving the nearby Primary School. This driver had absolutely no consideration.

I hate that roundabout at the bottom of Tates Avenue onto Boucher. It's far too small for how busy it is and no one indicates to turn left like 80% of the time!!

7:32 I´m planning my first vacation in UK, so I'm watching these videos for preparation. One question: in Germany, on a roundabout, the car that enters the roundabout first has the right of way. In the video, the black car coming from the left drives into the roundabout first, but does not have the right of way??? Why ? Is this because this is a very small roundabout?
