@@dashcamsni9190 I'd say runner doesn't move to footpath because it would mess up stride and sharp turns would be harder on joints aswell as having to stop to cross roads etc. I'm not a runner just speculation
Yeah, the runner isn't all that clued up. Don't know why anyone would want to run on the road when footpaths are available and even then, you'd want to be on the side of oncoming traffic so you can see any dangers. We were always taught as children to walk towards oncoming traffic with extreme care when footpaths weren't available... BUT, the runner in this clip is wearing high visibility clothing which surely makes him immune from being run over.. ROCKET!
Every morning when I came home from work there are 2 different runners running on the roads. They even run in the middle of the road if cars are parked up instead of going onto the pavement
Paisley Jnr must have been late for his holiday flight out of the city airport @ 2:00, don't be fooled into thinking it was the Royals! No debate for the last clip, that's my route home from work. Plenty of greenways through Craigavon and he just ignored a path on his left as well. Useless. Good to finally see an NI dashcam vid though.
Whats with the emphasis on Billy & Katherine? Personally, I'd have rung them a Value cab and told them to pay fer it. I'm all into using local business' and all. 😉
Being half Irish with me dad coming from co Mayo and me mum is Portuguese. I would like to visit Ireland sometime it seems like a great place even when it’s foggy. The last clip I cannot understand why that onion brain couldn’t use the pavement and be safe. I’m not sure what the runner was thinking but it wasn’t about safety except for the yellow jacket he’s wearing I tell you that much.

I'm a runner, I know people who run on the side of the road (usually in a cycle lane) because some hate running on footpaths. Though he should be running against traffic.
Footpaths are for people on foot. Cycle lanes are for cyclists. Roads are for other traffic. Is all your brain power tied up in not falling flat on your face?
last clip. Runners seem to like to use the road rather than the pavement. Really should be facing traffic as well!!
I just thought it was odd that he didn't use the path, dangerous too as you say not facing the traffic!

My thoughts exactly! I cycle quite a bit and I tell you what I would not run on the road especially running with the traffic flow!

You should definitely visit! Northern Ireland has a lot of negative press at times but it is one beautiful country!
