The clip there with the guy dressed in dark clothes is something I can relate to. A few years ago I was driving to Rushmere shopping centre in Craigavon along a small back road. It was a dark, winter's evening and I was keeping my speed down as it wasn't the best road. Suddenly a few metres in front of me I saw two TINY glints of white light that seemed to be moving around close to the ground. I wasn't sure what these were so I slowed down, and as I got closer I realised they were reflective stickers on the back of a pair of shoes belonging to a pedestrian who was out walking, on a dark country road, in winter, dressed from head to toe in black! Honestly if I hadn't seen her reflective shoes I would have been MUCH closer to her before I actually saw her. Why do people think it's a good idea to do stuff like this?

Samuel Holmes some people just don’t have the brains they were born with. They have to realise they have a duty of care to themselves as well as others when using the roads either as a pedestrian or in a vehicle or cycle. 👍🏻

Good videos, thanks. The 'no lights' guy: I've seen this lot lately. It seems new cars have a day running lights feature where only the headlights are on, not the rear lights. Because people can see the headlights lighting up the road ahead and their dashboard lights are on they assume all the lights are on. It's a stupid feature and should be removed.

That's what I pointed out Stephen, plus the fact that their dash will be lit up during the day and will dim down when the lights are switched on! Plus if they only turn on their side lights as some stupid people do they aren't even as bright as the day running lights!!

Great set of clips. Nice to see some interesting local stuff. Also good captions. Lots of dash cammers let themselves down with bad spelling and grammar. Yours are always 100%.

Thank you Big Red, glad you like the clips. Thinking of putting some different clips on instead of just idiots etc! Like the clip of the Mournes!

Funny thing about that renault is that its heading towards the driver & vehicle testing agency, definitely the right place for him.

Your man on the Glen road with no lights was amusing, I don't know how these people get through life safely. I had to help a pensioner recently who was struggling to get his brand new Renault out of Blacks road filling station, it took him fifteen minutes to move from the pump to the garage exit because he couldnt get the electronic hand brake off, he didnt even know it was on, when I asked him was the hand brake off he told me it didnt have one, "its one of them new cars" he said. I leaned in the window and showed him where it was, sometime later he was pulled up down the road a bit still having problems with it.

Older people just can't keep up with the technology these days! Will come to us all I'm sure! These day running lights are a nightmare at times, people see light from the front of their car and the dash is lit up so they assume their lights are on when they aren't!
