There's 15 seasons. Castiel, the "friend" is an angel. The brothers die a lot in the show, the "prophet" is actually god, or he becomes god, I forgot. The show is crazy, it even makes fun of it's self. It's a good show. There's a reason it kept running 15 seasons. It has a huge fan base. I have seen every episode. Don't know which episode you should watch next, but the entire series is worth watching. Jensen is a great actor.

Oh my gosh! This is not a show you watch in random order. It's not episodic at all. There's a 15 season long storyline that needs to be watched in order, because it all builds up into one epic story.

Yes the writer/creater wrote 5 Seasons & wrote season 5 to be the original Ending but it was popular for the network so they wanted to continue the series so the original writer left but again the network push out 15 more Seasons !

Aah, you missed out in the beginning... the recaps in Supernatural aren't like normal recaps, they're done like fanvids, every beat timed with the music. 😃 Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas is the unofficial theme song of the show, played in every season finale.

I watch these fake shows and think to myself, whoever thought of this had to have a very twisted mind, but it already happened, they're drawing from real life.

There are SO MANY great individual episodes in this series. It’s hard to point them out. But you should totally watch Scooby-natural. It’s such a fun episode. And more self-contained. With this episode you watched here, you literally picked the culmination of 5 seasons, lol

My favorite episode is 4x01 Lazarus Rising, but you might want to watch the recap to understand some things 😁

The season 4 premiere Lazarus Rising is a good episode to watch next, it basically starts the Angel vs Demons plot or just watch the pilot.

You cannot watch a random episode. This show itself is so random sometimes, you’ll be lost. Gotta start from the beginning, totally worth it tho!

They kind of deal with that work sometimes with humour. It’s not like they don’t care or are laughing at the victims, it’s just a way to stay focused and kind of sane.🤔

This was supposed to be the finale of the show and Sam wasn't supposed to come back for that end shot, so yeah randoming this one maybe not the best :D

At this point in the show Sam, Dean, Adam, and Cas had all had at least one death and resurrection already. So yeah, deaths of important characters were always viewed with a lot of doubt and denial 😂

Watching SPN with no context is insane 😂 the recap would've helped though and it's technically part of the episode

Literally the wrong episode to start the show, since it was the Season 5 Finale. Yes, it's a wonderful episode but so much that won't make any sense at all. Dean is/was Michael's earthly Vessel, Sam is/was Lucifer's earthly Vessel.....they have a half brother Adam (John Winchester's son) which made him an alternate Michael vessel.
