is it normal that the granola is sticky after baking?
Not at all. It should be completely baked through, and have a crisp texture like in the video. Few things to explore would be the oven temperature (if it was hot enough, check and calibrate). The baking dish used - is it a baking sheet, what material. Then spread the mixture like in video, similar thickness. If it’s layered too thick then the baking time will not be enough and also not turn crisp. The amount of liquid added is another thing to check. The measurements and also size of eggs. I’ve made it numerous times and it turns out great.

Can we blend the mint leaves in the blender with the watermelon?
I personally don’t like the taste of mint blended into watermelon juice. It feels too strong to me and I prefer the subtle mint flavor released by steeping the leaves.
I've been using this spice mix and method of cooking shawarma for about 4 years and it is the very best! This is the flavor I remember from my visit to the Middle East. I'd been looking for the perfect shawarma for about 15 years, and this is it. So, so worth it. We have it several times a year. It is flavorful and melt in your mouth yummy.

I replaced the semolina flour with regular flour and it came out delicious. It feels like a piece of heaven in my mouth. I also put coconut whipping cream( in can) instead of yogurt. Its amazing!

pomegranate molasses - I have never even heard of this and I can bet most here haven't , can we just use honey?
It tastes sweet-sour. Pomegranate molasses can be prepared by concentrating pomegranate juice. Some people combine honey with lemon juice; or date syrup with tamarind paste; until sweet-sour in taste. Alternatively sweet cranberry concentrate.

Completely useless without measurements in gramme
It’s listed at the link in the description. Cake Batter ▢ 125 g butter ▢ 130 g sugar ▢ 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or sugar ▢ 1½ tablespoons grated lemon zest ▢ 1 pinch salt ▢ 3 large eggs ▢ 200 g all purpose flour ▢ 2 teaspoons baking powder ▢ 2 tablespoons milk Topping ▢ 675 g apples, (I used Gala apples) ▢ 2 tablespoons melted butter ▢ 2 tablespoons apricot jam ▢ 1 tablespoon water
Option for pomegranate molasses
It is sweet sour, thick but pourable consistency. There’s no exact substitute. Some people evaporate pomegranate juice to concentrate it into a syrup like thickness. Just to combine the sour and sweet taste some people mix honey with lemon juice or tamarind paste.

My husband and his family are from Germany. We have Stollen every Christmas. We all love it! We buy it at a local German deli and it can be a bit pricey.
