What I learned from this video: Assotto Corsa looks and sounds magnificent. I need to start using LFM. The Rev has let slip he has a foot fetish lol. Quality video as always Rev, keep it up brother.

Brilliant stuff Rev, I have LMU but only ever tried the GT3 cars. Jeez I didn't realise what I was missing, the Hyper Cars are a blast to drive. I don't play online at all (being the wrong side of 50), but I really enjoy comparing my lap times to others and yours are a great benchmark. Best I can manage round Imola so far is a 1.35.5 in the Ferrari 🤣 The GT3 cars keep getting in my way (at least that's my excuse). Keep up the great content

It's impressive how the original AC is still able to look as amazing as the newer sims out there, if not better. The modding community is really keeping this game alive. Also, the ffb on this one is top tier. It was so much fun watching this race, rev, give us some more!

Where did they get the rolling starts for AC 1? My AC 1 does not provide rolling starts, which I wish it did have. This can't be Assetto Corsa 1 game with rolling starts. It has to be ACC. You don't give any links to LFM. Can you get the cars for also doing offline AI racing??? i found the link to LFM website. Thanks for any info on this, you have nothing in your description.

Idk guys where do you see these "amazing" graphics ? Are we playing the same game ? Car paint, global illumination, cubemaps looks rough.

What are your computer specs? And what resolution and monitor setup do you have? The graphics on this vid are awesome!

So for a matter of analysis, I drove Rfactor 2 using ASRformula 1991 cars and compared them to AMS2's generic Formula classic gen 4 and AC's ASR formula 1991, this was done before the latest patch but still 1.6....I felt RF2 gave me the impression that four wheels are on the ground, AC 2, AMS chasis!! 🤷‍♂

Rev, since 1.6.3.5 I've found the gt3(gen2) Corvette underwent some of the most radical change somehow. Especially with tires not up to optimal temps. Also, Reiza have since dropped another patch!😂

After 6.5 years and over £2500 on Iracing this has given me the alternative I wanted. I was streaming this 18 months ago saying it was an underdog but now it’s really up there. No more shit tyre model and dumb penalty system. This puts the fun factor back into sim racing 👊🏻

the battles between one ai and another looks so realistic, but one thing is clearly missing is ai going for a defensive line when the non-ai player approaches.

I play in vr, have loved ams2 but after playing lmu I have switched over to lmu. The driving physics are much better, ams2 need to work on gt3 car handling.

Rev, I can live with AMS2 GT3s, the new ones especially, and I've liked the Porsche Cup car too. But one overlooked aspect is AMS2 does GT4 the best among any sim right now, and I tend to agree with Aubrey Coleman and Owen Evans about how well they drove even before 1.6. For me they are a bit more pure and analog like late 90s and early noughties GT cars. The high downforce cars with the revamped force feedback and feeling of grip compensate for not experiencing downforce physicality and subtle vibrations through the body. They just need to keep refining it, but AMS2 is so much more than being a GT3 sim.

I think the TC in AMS2 is fundamentally broken. Turning off traction control feels like driving a totally different car, at least for me. This might explain the floaty feeling you described. Even on 1 TC, it cuts too much power. I wish Reiza would focus on reworking the traction control system now that most other aspects well polished.

LMU is easily one of the best sims I've played. It's one of the reasons I ditched PS5 for PC.

I thought the general consensus was the LMP2’s were too grippy already and needed a nerf in this update.

Did they nerf the rain on the windscreen in the last few updates? I feel like it looked way better before and now looks like little water worms crawling up the glass. Am I going crazy

ive just red on overtake gg that reiza will be putting new stuff for ams2 for almost every month, they want to have pretty much everything before they release career mode but it wont be this year

Thanks for the information on the new upgrade of AMS 2. Nice to know that they are improving the graphics of certain tracks. May I ask what AI percentage level you are using to do races? I need to check and see if I have gotten that update. Also have you ever just held back a lap or two on the AI racing till they all get up to full speeds, then start your racing with them. Seems every game I see when reviewers are racing AI, the human driver passes half the AI field on the first 2 turns. Kind of silly in my opinion. We all know the AI will be very slow on the first lap or so. just add a few more laps to the races and make them more competitive. Thanks for the video. Take care.

Nice Video. Just recently found your channel. I didn't realize that doing the qualifying helped train the AI in a similar way to RaceRoom. I will investigate this now you have pointed it out. Thanks. I love AMS2 racing. No matter what your level, you can turn the AI up or down to suit. I like the McLaren GT3 and GT4. I have 6 small haptics on seat and pedals plus a NLR Motion platform v3 to help me 😂😂. I need the help because I'm not much of a driver (80 years old lol, excuses, excuses!). I don't drive in my G2 VR much, but have a 2070S/i7 with triples and my newer rig is a 4070ti to a ViewSo9nic X2 4K 150 inch projected image. This is all the culmination of over twenty years of sim racing. I might have told you this in a post before, if so sorry, I get forgetful recently . Not sure why? 🤣Anyway, I like your videos, thanks again.

Grip is greatly improved (good) When I make mistake, game is more forgiving for you to fix and get back to racing (good and bad) AI still needs work (they run over you like you are not there and the speed in corners is very inconsistent) VR is great and perhaps the only game to have good performance Overall I am pretty happy and definitely my favorite VR racing game
