New *BEST* Settings for VALORANT! (Full Optimization Guide) December 2023
I'm in my senior year for highschool and trying to get into a good university. Its only midterms and I already feel burned out from studying, and everytime I try to play a game (for example valorant) I feel almost guilty, knowing that I could spend this time studying. I dont find much enjoyment from playing games nowadays, always thinking about school. Do you have any tips to prevent burnout?
For school, the best advice is to know your reason why. Either that be through the enjoyment you feel pursuing down a path of academia or certain result to provide for your family. That personally helps me go through my stages of burn out in terms of academics. With Valorant however, don't force yourself to continue playing if you don't enjoy it. Before I reached my peak rank of top 700, I actually took a 5 month break, lost over 40 pounds, got my grades in check, and came back to it after understanding that Valorant is really only here because I enjoy it and have fun. At the end of the day, that's what life is all about, no one can take your hobbies and enjoyments away from you, but if you feel burnt out from it, don't feel obligated to keep going and know when it is time to look for something else or just take a break entirely (personally I like the look for something else approach and coming back to it if you like)
@@rooneyFPS appreciate u heavy
I think instead of complicating we should stop playing valorant
this video is unironically one of the most straight forward videos I have ever made haha
Hey thank you, i really needed to hear this
I am glad you enjoyed and learned
not gonna lie the subway surfers part was kinda funny but for me its easier with valorant gameplay and the text just makes me read it in my head and then i dont know what youve said might just be my adhd tho
haha yeah I also found that as well which is why I told people to rewatch the part. Didn't want to bore people too too much with the science of it all.
sounds inspired from ItsMeRuff's videos lol. good video :D
Oh which video I will go check it out and does he also do Valorant? For this though it was manly from the books I read + research papers + just things I have been using for a long time instinctively lmao
never mind, just watched one of his videos. Our content is very similar haha, but I do try to implement Valorant as I disagree with most self-improvement people that gaming is a waste of time. Also @masobeats for music is the goat
@rooneyFPS he does a lot of irl based stuff regarding working out/school work and how to do both consistently, effectively, and stay motivated while doing it. the eat the frog method is the same thing he talks about in like every video.
Help. What if my other nosetril is clogged. How can i breathe properly
I had that problem too, something that helped me was buying alcohol strips and smelling them. I am not sure why it works, but it allowed me to open my nose a lot more every time I used them and always cleared it out.
what are your mouse dpi and ingame sens settings btw?
No offense but u have the lower ping without it
this is surprisingly more useful for the dreams i have outside of valorant. Ive always had the mindset to change and improve but never knew how. thank you!!
keep going brother and work hard. You only fail when you stop trying.
Road to 100k
that is the goal my sweety
I know that sounds weird but I’m 17 and you are really helpful to me thanks hope you reach a lot in your life
I appreciate that brother and let's work hard together!
i'm skinny is it ok if i eat junk food? because i need to gain weight ?
It’s better to eat whole foods if you can and prioritize protein. That’s all. You can have junk food once in a while but it will slowly kill you. Trust me as someone who is recovering from a dirty bulk, it is not worth it to eat a bunch of junk.
@@rooneyFPS I don't get fat whatever i eat i'm skinny for life , but i guess it's really harder to lose weight congrats for u man so happy !
I appreciate it brother. Don't quit! Everyone has their own journey in terms of fitness and even I strive to continue learning every single day. It is simply but it ain't easy.
wow. Incredible video. Though, I tend to disagree with always using the pomodoro technique, because with it you can't get in flow state (which is the most productive state you can be) because you need more time. In my opinion, the pomodoro technique is great for annoying tasks that you don't want to do or simple tasks that don't require focus. Please correct me if I'm wrong. You deserved a follow.
Yeah I totally get that, I believe it’s all up to the person. Sometimes with tasks that I really enjoy I would lengthen the time to 45 minutes and a 10 minute break as personaly it helps me stay in the flow for longer, BUT I tend to usually do the 25-30 minute mark a lot more for school and Valorant just out of habit and it personal helps me just do the work.
I was not listening these tips 😂i was watching these insane clips whats your peek rank you are insane
This is @primmies clips, I will use my own dms from now on since people are getting confused
came for val left studying to bring myself 1 step closer to the uni i want to get into thanks for the video

immortal at 14 yrs old with 2 months of having a computer am i talented?
Perhaps you are, but there is always someone better so stay humble and keep working on your goals. (My brother hit immortal at 11)
It’s better to aim train after your session and before bed than before, it’s not an warmup. And it gets worse the longer your training is.
I heavily disagree, I don’t think it genuinely matters too much as long as you fall in the range of 10-20 minutes and mainly focus on micro adjustments and dynamic clicking as it directly correlates to your game after warming up with it.
hey man i know what is holding me back in val : 1- non precise micro adjustments 2-panic shooting but what can i do to fix these?
not an expert but I have same problem and here are some things that are helping me : 1.for micro adjustment try to do micro adjustment drills in aimlabs 2.for panic shooting u need to remind ur self to be calm first in dm try to be calm and remember it's okay if u whiff happens to everyone then when u improvement apply the same in ranked
My king 👑
gaming motivation 💀
Yeah get up and work harder, our moms are still working hard
most inspirational video ive watched. keep going
Thanks for the love, keep working hard!
I wish I had the time to dedicate to val consistently,I still play inconsistently but it honestly scares me the attitude that most players have. Constantly blaming others for every little thing. And it shows up in higher rank when I watch streamers too. It's wild. People are defined by how their systems function at their lowest levels. How you treat the little things in life do matter. And also what you choose in life to matter is completely up to you. It's all meaningless anyways it's up to you to define meaning. If you want valorant rank to matter to you there's nothing wrong with that. I really hope it's just immaturity/young age but even I realized by 14-15 that it wasn't cool to not give a shit about anything and put in no effort
I 1000% agree and that’s what my channel tries to promote.
I really wanna climb the ranks and recently forgot the fundamentals so I will legit open up custom alone and training on my peaking and good angles but my friend that won’t do that little extra ain’t really climbing. People might thinks it’s stupid just imagining in custom but I rank up due to it
Exactly , the small things add up
no offence but you sound 25
Brother.. This is the most practical advice I've ever heard on valorant 👍
Let’s get to work baby!
What do you do during the breaks? Do you just focus on your thoughts or grab a snack? Cause getting on the phone feels like a waste and doesnt help my mental clearity. Btw u earned ys a new sub W advice
I personally just get up and walk around, or sit down on my massage chair and think about my thoughts. Don’t overcomplicate it, but whatever you do, your gut will know if the thing you are doing is actually productive/needed for you.
what a amazing video, keep up the good work man
I dropped 100 and it literally made my gain faith in just trying frfr
I'm watching this and not doing my assignments
go back to your assignments bro!
@@rooneyFPS I did!
Great video. I just want you to succeed so I'm writing a comment for the algorithm
That really made my day actually. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment this and wishing me luck! I hope you are also able to achieve all the goals you set for yourself and I can aid in even it if it is just a little!
You brought up things like outside factors that effect gameplay that no one that makes these sort of videos ever brings up like sleep, diet, which have a major impact on your performance. Nice work.
I appreciate the love! Hope you were able to learn!
I think almost everybody I watched brought those up, idk what you talking abt
@@retrex3977 Shout them out dawg. The more people advocating for this the better! Also helps me support them on the videos!
Wait did you release a video on how you lost 100 lbs yet?
nope, you think I should? Well I guess every video I made has tips that helped me in losing the weight including this one, but I could 100% go more in depth for sure.
@ you gotta do it bro. gamers like me would most likely benefit from it and other viewers as well
chat i lost my rank up and then lost 3 games after that am i cooked? 😭🙏
no you aren't, you are only cooked as much as your brain tells you that you are.
@@rooneyFPShold up his writing is this fire??
Keep playing until you lose at least 15 in a row, then you actually might be cooked.
Great vid, really liked the clean feel of the white text on black background parts
thanks! I have been trying something differently so hopefully the brain rot tiktok brain the val community has can respond to this well and learn a lot!
@rooneyFPS it felt really easy to digest tho, so I think you accomplished it.
3:17 u made me realize that to make my life easier (i never had a problem with val but always watch vids lol) i should make the process interesting in a way i can look forward to it instead of procrastinating which will ultimately help me achieve my goals. I knew that already but even the obvious can be forgotten Edit: great vid btw
Yeah something that helped me a lot with exercising and losing weight was turning it into a game. For example, every time I reached 10k steps rewarded me an extra one game to play valorant or do things I enjoy. Another example is doing something you don't "enjoy" and pairing it with something that you do. Such as with aim training, you can do it whilst watching your favorite show. Yes, it might not result in 100% focus, but you just doing the action compared to not will result in much more progress.
As someone who is very interested in cognitive functions and thinking processes (especially for learning and problem solving), I wonder what your level of knowledge on this topic is. Since you were able to get so many achievements that all require learning in any form, I assume that you are doing a lot of things subconsciously correct when it comes to cognitive processes, but what is your awareness level on that? Do you have a lot of awareness on your thinking processes and habits or not really? If not, may be an area you might be interested to look into. In total though - from my current knowledge on all of these topics - one of the best videos I have seen on UA-cam about this. Imma watch your other videos know and apply, that is the most important part since info consumption doesn't equal application skill (maybe a topic you can make a video about if you haven't already).
Obviously I am only 18 years old and I am brutally aware that I have MUCH more to learn on this topic. However, for me and my personal growth and development I would say I have got a fairly solid understanding of what makes me succeed in learning pretty much any skill. I understand how to balance my sub-conscious mind and my conscious mind and also use my strengths to my advantage in order to pursue my goals. I think with all the frameworks out there, you can only really trust what works for you and your own situation (because almost everything works just depends on personal preference) For example, one of the things that helps me learn drastically is by listening to classical music while working. This not only promotes my sub-conscious thinking by unintentionally putting me in a state of full focus every time I put it on and improves my memory due to me having it in my routine and a habit, but it also helps with my conscious thinking as it relaxes me to put in active work no matter what the concepts are. Of course there are other things I do to ensure that my habits become bad -> good as I know that our habits make up our identity, but I will go more in depth with those in future videos :3
2 vids in 2 weeks? Damn ur cooking ron (great vid btw)
Appreciate the love brother
why r u using primmies clips???????
1. I credited him in the description 2. You can quite literally watch any one of my videos to see my proof of credentials (like my last one) 3. I like to use my background as filler so that’s why I sometimes use my own dms or tdms or favourite creators I use. It doesn’t take away any of the things I say and if it helps people watch the video and be entertained by good aim while listening to good info (atomic habits) then I will happily add it in to promote a good message
Because primmie is goated so why not use his amazing clips

Work hard brother!
