    This is great i coach low rank players but in my coaching when i try teaching mentality towards your team i always find it a bit difficult to tell them a way to brush off what the team says. your toddler method is a perfect way of looking at it and ima have to yoink that for future use mentality is the biggest factor to your performance if you start to tilt all your skills just drop and you start to spiral using your view point will help keep your emotions in check. Fantastic video

    • @rooneyFPS
      @rooneyFPS  7 місяців тому

      Yup, I think the toddler daycare method can be used in pretty much any randomized team environment, simply by just taking the leadership role and taking control on matters that don't need to be brought up other than the common goal everyone has.

    I have been playing PC fps for 4 years now, one thing I still can't seem to be consistent at is my aim. It took me 2 years to perfect my aim in Fortnite, and that aim disappeared after I took a 6 months break. With Valorant, it is also the same, but inconsistent every other week I play. I just want to be consistent, 17 losses and 9 wins over the course of 3 days which is the only time I play since I am in university. (VALORANT Rank: PLAT)
    Side note: Or I could just be tilted due to the fact that my mouse has been fucked for a year now (mouse clicks more than once on one click, which unregisters and registers clicks I do not want. If I spray control, it stops shooting and shoots and stop again. If I want to tap, it shoots more than once randomly), and I haven't had time to buy a new one.

    • @rooneyFPS
      @rooneyFPS  7 місяців тому

      Unfortunately this is not me in the video, but at the Immortal 3+ level is when you are able to understand an incorporate when to crouch in fights. However, most people under this rank have no idea when, it is really situational and I would suggest mostly avoiding it due to the fact that you don't really need it all that much to win fights and in most cases hinders you.

Thanks for being part of the limited amount of Valorant UA-camrs who don’t just say the same things over and over again. • @rooneyFPS
      @rooneyFPS  7 місяців тому

      The mature answer to this question is to simply talk it through and open up. I know this might sound "cringe" but all healthy and loving relationships has its ups and downs, and the only way to uphold them is to have safe and healthy conversations. Overall though, most of the time, the older sibling never really means any harm and even maybe expressing their love and or support in their own way. For example, an older sibling calling you fat, on the short-term this might sound like they are "yelling" at you, but they are really trying to just motivate you and lead you on a better and healthier path. Also, everyone has bad days so try not to take every single thing a person says to you to heart, including your family and friends.

      You can, I was able to do it in a month. However, it is VERY hard depending on where you start so I would not put this as a goal as only the top 0.5% of all players are immortal and it is a really difficult goal to achieve in such a short time

    I’m not hating or anything but what exactly does any of this have to do with not improving at valorant? You kinda just said the same generic stuff every guru online says stuff like “ignore haters because there life’s miserable and there trying to take you down to there level” etc. again not hating but I was kinda hoping for some actual advice on getting past that stage of hitting a brick wall where I feel like no matter how much I play I just don’t improve :/

    • @rooneyFPS
      @rooneyFPS  7 місяців тому +8

      Brother, you being in this “victim” mindset is the exact reason why you can’t get past that stage of hitting a brick wall. If you have watched any of my videos and even watched this video, what did I say? To take action… Do you think I was able to lose 100 pounds, grow my first ever business to a degree where I don’t need to work a full-time job that I hate, and get the leanest I have ever been because I watched videos on the internet and constantly told myself “ughhhh what’s the perfect solution to my problem right now”. Brother do the hard work. Instead of wasting your time commenting on a random content creators video saying “b-b-but roooney these tips are useless, give me the full proof solution to get to immortal please!” Do the work, genuinely apply what you learn in the videos and books you read and watch,stay consistent, and fall back on the fundamentals of knowing how to learn because I promise you the reason why so many people give this advice is because it works… and the reason why so many people fail is because they think they don’t..
      Also no hate to you and I will take the criticism whenever, but this is my view and what worked for me to achieve everything I have in my life right now and what I will have in the near future. It’s up to you if you want to do the same.

    • @vabby2k
      @vabby2k 7 місяців тому +2

      i mean u can take this as general advice but mindset is a big part of improving in anything so these tips can definitely be useful to many people

    • @mrpopodestroyerofworlds
      @mrpopodestroyerofworlds 7 місяців тому +1

      @@rooneyFPS I'm not in a victim mindset or anything like that, nor do I believe that there is some magical advice that will get me to make immortal. My first thought when I saw the video title was something like maybe there are some tips on movement, peaking, aiming etc, that many videos don’t go properly into or something like that. I just didn’t expect it to be about dealing with toxic or bad teammates. Which is why I felt the title to be a bit clickbaity. But good luck to you and your goals 👍

    • @rooneyFPS
      @rooneyFPS  7 місяців тому +1

      Again, this is quite literally the solution and advice that took me to reach all of my achievements and break the cycle of me not improving, including reaching top 700 in all of north America. You can think it's not important all you want and watch more videos on "how to peek" or "how to aim" but I can tell you from my own personal experience, nothing is more important than the mental side of Valorant if you truly want to improve. which is WHY people don't say it and do the videos that pulls the most views like "hOw tO cAlM AiM..."
