I’ve often thought an adaptation could work if Dolores was a puppet operated by Humbert, and he broke the fourth wall to make it more obviously framed as his own descriptions of what happened. It might work better as a play as they generally have more scope to be non-naturalistic, but you could totally do an art-film like that. It could incorporate stop motion animation, and go fully meta showing him with the stop motion sets and equipment. I think overall presenting it in a more theatrical way rather than the naturalism we usually see in film is the only way it could be an accurate adaptation.

That has some positives and also many, many negatives. A lot of the adult material you can find on the internet is low quality and propagates bigotry and other harmful ideas. In my personal opinion, the more high quality content, which is inclusive and less problematic, can be found with NSFW comics. Again, a lot of comics are low quality but certain specific artists do make good work. I read first few volumes of Sunstone by Stjepan Sejic in high school and that comic helped me explore things about myself. A surprising number of furry comics are good quality. There is this one NSFW furry artist I know of who has trans inclusive stories which don't f*tishize anybody which I find very refreshing (and surprisingly wholesome). Anyone interested in the subject should try to find books which discuss how to have safe and healthy s*xual practices. I recently got a book by Allison Moon called Girl S*x 101 which Ive heard good things about. The website Oh Joy, S*x Toy has informational content as well as high quality NSFW comic stories.

So I'm a pansexual amab queer person, I don't have a strong opinion on the topic either way. I went here with some scepticism but also open mind to listen to those arguments and see if I am convinced. I listened to 45 minutes and all I got so far is one argument that it's ok, cause it is usually safer than other types of gay sex. There is also this explanation in the beginning that a lot of cruising is happening in parks, and then when talking about non-willing participants it's solved by "you know, but like deep in bushes, and also when someone inevitably stumbles upon them they like totally stop giving each other blowjobs and hide their genitalia, so you know - problem solved. The empty space where actual strong meritoric arguments should be is filled with a lot of yapping, and like a lot of it, a few strawmans etc.

I was curious about your video because of the thumbnail. When I was a young teen I spent a lot of time in my local park, I was going through a rough time and it was a safe space for me. It was a beautiful place, but it wasn't uncommon to see cops crawling the parking lot. One time I was out there and "walked in" on two guys getting it on right in the middle of one of the trails.
