🗣️ What our members say
”Flown has been a godsend for me. I am a freelancer working from home, which can be a little isolating. Scheduling Flocks in my calendar really forces me to sit down to work at pre-defined times in the day. This not only adds some much needed structure and routine to my day-to-day, but it also gets me to connect with other people on a daily basis. So it’s a win for productivity and mental health!”

First. THANK YOU so much for sharing this. I used to invite a friend over just to sit and keep me company while I cleaned. This was around 2012 or 2013. I wasn’t diagnosed and had no idea this was an ADHD thing.

Omg, I am so relieved that someone knows exactly how I feel very day! The most thing the resonated was when she said about "Things that are simple and straightforward to people, is very heavy for ADHD people" she is so right and honestly every day is a new challenge and a new battle with my brain trying to direct the day towards a successful path, also she mentioned that it's related to clinical Depression and that is something that can make things alot more complicated! Understanding ourselves helps navigate ways to help ourselves go through things and times, but also people around us knowing what we go through is both liberating and e couraging. I NEVER thought I would ever tell my boss that I struggle with ADHD and then ask them for what I need from them! I hope this conversation can continue to grow and influence workplaces on a large scale to remove the shame of being Neurodivergent! Thank you so much for talking about t continue this amazing work 💜

what obligation does the employer have to comply? You go through all of this and then your employer stalls because they're so big no team can agree on who's going to be doing this?

Perfectionist is a bastardized term, but I not sure what’s better here. I know lots of people who claim “perfectionism” as a way to excuse their thorough concern or accurate qualifications. I’ve worked with people that claim such notions because they feel embarrassed in their other circles. It’s fun to think of other words, “ over maximizer” or maybe “Excess Meister” 😂 ❤️‍🔥 . Thanks for the vid.

I dont quiet understand the application of those?? For My Job I have to make 15 calls a day, usually this is like draging 15 tables around all day to me! I know Im more productive and focused in the morning, am I Boxing, where Im splitting my calls to little blocks of 3 or 4? or do I Block a time to make the calls? which like I said is a very diffucult huge task for me.. Ill start dialing and so quickly my brain starts jamping around and thinking too much about what im going to say and dreading what they will say and 5 hours later Ive done 3 calls! Some days are better than others but the general theme is that my 8 hours at work get eaten up by having to make 15 calls.

Time blocking is about ensuring that you set aside enough time to do the task. Time boxing is about limiting the amount of time that you spend on the task. Real life example: blocking an hour to wash all the dishes vs setting a timer for 10 minutes and washing as many as you can before the timer goes off.
