The John Piper was one of the first big book I read from him. If you’re looking for a testimonial book about the journey from Islam to Christianity I suggest Seeking Allah finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi. One of my all time favorites.

I resonate with so many parts of your testimony. I fell for the WOF movement early on in my Christian walk & it caused me confusion. I’m so glad that God rescued me from the false teachings I used to believe🙌🏻💕

Aww thank you so much for making this video Lydia! As someone who struggles with disordered anxiety (alongside OCD, which is a whole other ball game in of itself), this was so encouraging and honestly what I've needed to hear. The whole idea of accepting anxiety but trusting God throughout it resonates so much with me, and is something I'm really working on. It's okay to feel anxiety. We don't have to try and make it just go away. God's with us through it all, and it will pass. He's so loving and understands everything we're experiencing, beyond even our own understanding. I also love looking back at 2 Corinthians and Paul's thorn in his flesh, reminding me of just how sufficient God's grace is in our weaknesses and struggles. He's so good! Also, if you're looking for any other Christian resources on anxiety and mental health, I've found a lot of Mark DeJesus' resources (he has a UA-cam channel) to be quite insightful and helpful along this journey. Anyway, thank you so much for this video and I'll definitely have to give this book a read! :)

Hey Lidia, I really want to and NEED to read the book by Graham Benyon but unfortunately, I can't buy myself for a couple of reasons; one of them being we don't have it in my country, and we also don't have credit cards. Do you happen to know if there is way to get the book for free? And blessings! Keep up the good work!

Put all your trust and fears in the hands of god and our lord Jesus. They will guide you and your true self will awaken. Prayer and meditation are key, and be creative learn a musical instrument it will help. Also get into nature, a walk in a forest or camping. And less screen time, put them phones down and stay away from world news if you can't change it don't worry about it, it's all in Gods hands. The holy spirit is your friend and guide, he is always with you. Listen to his wisdom. God bless 🙏

The Book of Common Prayer really helped my anxiety. Daily Psalms are an integral part of my routine, to keep myself rooted in the Word and to live out of that Peace. Thank you for sharing, Lydia, God Bless!

Woosh! 😍 I forgot how much I used to bindge read books by Nigerian authors back in college. I learned so much about the culture 🤩😍

This was so, so thorough! Thank you, Lydia! I was intrigued when you said you noticed the author acknowledged God in the back of the book. I tend to get really excited when that happens, and have let that influence how I feel about reading specific books, but even then we have to be so careful. That acknowledgement doesn’t always mean true faith or a biblical worldview. We must always read with discernment as Christ-followers, and I appreciate that you are encouraging all of your viewers to do so!!! ❤️
