Slow Jogging for All Ages: Gentle Running, Great Results.

The key to slow jogging lies in maintaining a pace that feels enjoyable and effortless. For most people, this is slightly faster than walking but slower than conventional running. The focus is on short, gentle strides rather than long, forceful ones. This minimizes impact on the joints and ensures that the activity can be maintained over longer periods without discomfort. #slowjogging #fitness ...

    This AI site uses more videos of people doing REGULAR jogging (think heal strike) than SLOW jogging. Reason - it's easier for the AI to find "JOGGING" videos without knowing which is regular and which is SLOW.

  • @nmilligan1128

    It might be helpful if you actually showed people that were slow jogging rather than just jogging.

  • @marklondon3823

    Most of the video's runners are not slow jogging. Another AI production (It's BURNout, not burnOUT). No thank you.

    It would be best if this video eliminated all the foot plant examples that show a "heel first" landing. Dr. Tanaka would be disappointed.

    This doesn’t look at all like the slow jogging like the doctor said.

  • @joanvanparidon9807

    I agree with last comment. I have watched a number of videos on slow jogging but none have simply shown practical tips to actually land. Most images here, as other sites, show landing on the heel.

  • @karwask1
    @karwask1 17 днів тому

    Although everything that they say in this video is accurate regarding slow jogging, everything pictured here is incorrect. Pace at which many of these people are running is not slow jogging. In addition slow jogging is never a heel to toe gait. One places the weight on the front of your foot not the heel. So, if you're interested in slow jogging try to find a credible resource. It is a wonderful thing for all the reasons stated, the visuals are completely wrong here.

  • @karwask1
    @karwask1 17 днів тому

    As much as slow jogging is wonderful and everything that they say here is accurate, all of the pictures are not accurate. The pace of some of the people shown here is incorrect, and slow jogging is not heel to toe running but is running with the weight primarily on the front of the foot. So, this is a very inaccurate representation and should not be taken literally. Even though the discourse is accurate

    What a bad video. The content is okay, but hardly shows slow jogging. Almost all the people in this video are walking (too) fast. The video is completely out of tune with the subject.

    Most people in the videos don’t do slow jogging but run. Very misleading, especially that there are no info regarding pace, foot reception and health benefits.

    Great idea! I'm 70 years old, and I began slow jogging about 20 years ago. The fitness benefits are considerably greater than just walking. SJ is especially helpful if I've let my exercise program lapse by a few weeks. Great way to get back into it! It works well for steep hills and trail running, also.

    slow jogging is better than nothing but to gain strength and better function you need to stress the body. Im almost 73 and i sprint up steep hills for about 90 seconds, all out, then walk back down and do it 3 more times. im six foot 150 lbs, take no pi;lls, dont even wear glasses. No aches or pains except if i sleep in bad position. I also do trampoline bouncing daily, ice baths after a sauna every day.I also slow jog mornings where im not feeling the force to push myself. For the sauna i sit in my car parked in the sun with windows up and my ice bath is my bathtub with a big bag of ice floating around it.

    @JaikritiSharma, No, you don't deserve a horrible life. When a tragedy occurs, any tragedy, it gives us an opportunity to reflect and try to be better in life. Condemning ourselves is not a solution; let's try to learn, and if we need to change, let's change. But if we are alive, it is for a reason. God bless.

    There's a lot of people in a lot of cases, but I have spent my life sacrificing for the people. I love sacrificing my land sacrificing homes that I've owned sacrificing whatever they needed because my wife had cancer and my daddy had stage 4 COPD. My mother shot and killed him in August, but my wife also died in March due to cancer. Aunt have always. I've given up enough health, my teeth, even my everything. Everything I ever did was to pay for her chemo treatments and her cancer treatment okay. I hope before she lives because I beg for her to be here before she left before she passed away in March. I made sure for 20 years she was taken care of and we were are together. They call it co-survivor for a reason I'm not one of those people that just treated somebody like that. Beg for her to be here now. No I fought for her to be here and stay here those are shallow, callous people that treat people like that. I did everything and sacrificing everything I could to keep my life to keep my dad. My mother shot and killed him and I fought her for the guns and then I kept him alive. Even when my wife was dying I offered my organs. I gave her my blood. I would do anything so wow my loved ones were alive. I fought for them I hate that people aren't like that normally
