Slow Jogging for All Ages: Gentle Running, Great Results.
Переглядів 1 тис.2 місяці тому
The key to slow jogging lies in maintaining a pace that feels enjoyable and effortless. For most people, this is slightly faster than walking but slower than conventional running. The focus is on short, gentle strides rather than long, forceful ones. This minimizes impact on the joints and ensures that the activity can be maintained over longer periods without discomfort. #slowjogging #fitness ...

Why running every day is a Game-Changer!
I prefer ChiWalking and ChiRunning 😃
Good stuff! I love ChiRunning and ChiWalking. Very similar concept but with more mind/body connection. The body mechanics seem similar. Great message for people aging and don't think they can add running to their life. I've trained women over 60 to do their first ultra marathons!
That is slow motion running 😂
Why don't such videos on Slow Jogging show more examples of the fore/midfoot landing, which is critical to an injury free activity?
It's the business
It seems too easy to do is it really exercise ?
I, yes it is a great exercise, in my personal experience I can tell cus in the first couple of minutes I start sweating, please go here to learn the difference from regular running and slow jogging. ua-cam.com/video/zGER7f-KaQ4/v-deo.html I hope this helps.
@myfunrunandhealthactivities65 yes it's been usefull many thanks
Missing your daily running vids grandpa!
It's a very comfortable form of exercise enjoyable but does it raise the heart rate enough ?
hi, yes it does, I am 66 years old and it is perfect for heart rate, in fact, I do one day Slow jogging next day resistance training and do this for 6 days, nothing makes me sweat more than slow jogging.
@myfunrunandhealthactivities65 thank you
THIS AI IS SPREDING BULLSHITE> YOU need to STOP LYING. the shoes shown are NOT SUITABLE, and slow jogging is only possible is you have tiny stemps and 180 step per minute tempo. I SUGGEST THE BOTS go and fin the DR vidoe and learn properly before you hurt yourself. Is this another lying cheating american site?
the video definitely does not shows me the slow jogging
I never finished this - the over-loud foreground music defeated me.
They are doing hard running ?
These people are doing fast hard running
Humans developed slow jogging thousands or even millions of years ago. Shit channel
This AI site uses more videos of people doing REGULAR jogging (think heal strike) than SLOW jogging. Reason - it's easier for the AI to find "JOGGING" videos without knowing which is regular and which is SLOW.
It might be helpful if you actually showed people that were slow jogging rather than just jogging.
Most of the video's runners are not slow jogging. Another AI production (It's BURNout, not burnOUT). No thank you.
I know alot of these videos show hard impact running ?
It would be best if this video eliminated all the foot plant examples that show a "heel first" landing. Dr. Tanaka would be disappointed.
I know they are doing hard running
This doesn’t look at all like the slow jogging like the doctor said.
I agree with last comment. I have watched a number of videos on slow jogging but none have simply shown practical tips to actually land. Most images here, as other sites, show landing on the heel.
True they are doing hard running
As little as possible.
😮 look like they were moving fast for my pace
good observation, thanks for your comment. 🙂
All great advices but watch out the cars around you ❤❤
What a bad video. The content is okay, but hardly shows slow jogging. Almost all the people in this video are walking (too) fast. The video is completely out of tune with the subject.
Click bait. The idea is catching on, so they get a lot of attention. You wait to see a demonstration and never get the pay off. 😒
Most people in the videos don’t do slow jogging but run. Very misleading, especially that there are no info regarding pace, foot reception and health benefits.
I know slow as in slow with the ball of your foot
Less is best 😊😊
@rebeccacruse9163, that is great to know, thank you for sharing this with us.
It does wonders for everyone I work at a nursing home got my residents into it!! They love it❤❤❤I love it never slept so good ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I love it very much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is NOT a video for Dr Tanaka’s method of slow jogging. Don’t be fooled.
You’re right. What a bad video this is.
Couldn't agree more their all doing hard running
Although you do get faster at Niko Niko pace... this is not great. Lol
Yes
Great idea! I'm 70 years old, and I began slow jogging about 20 years ago. The fitness benefits are considerably greater than just walking. SJ is especially helpful if I've let my exercise program lapse by a few weeks. Great way to get back into it! It works well for steep hills and trail running, also.
Do jumping squats and baar pushpus and see the result
slow jogging is better than nothing but to gain strength and better function you need to stress the body. Im almost 73 and i sprint up steep hills for about 90 seconds, all out, then walk back down and do it 3 more times. im six foot 150 lbs, take no pi;lls, dont even wear glasses. No aches or pains except if i sleep in bad position. I also do trampoline bouncing daily, ice baths after a sauna every day.I also slow jog mornings where im not feeling the force to push myself. For the sauna i sit in my car parked in the sun with windows up and my ice bath is my bathtub with a big bag of ice floating around it.
This is so bad for your joints.
None of the examples in the video are "Slow Jogging " they are just running slowly, look up slow jogging academy, on you tube, they show you the how's and why's and proper technique...done correctly its a very good exercise
Why not just do a brisk walk, I can almost bet the benefits are the same
Doing good
Good luck on 5k ❤❤
thank you friend.🙂

Wow, 100 push ups a day on your knuckles sounds interesting.
100 push ups a day on your knuckles. Watch the difference in a month

@JaikritiSharma, No, you don't deserve a horrible life. When a tragedy occurs, any tragedy, it gives us an opportunity to reflect and try to be better in life. Condemning ourselves is not a solution; let's try to learn, and if we need to change, let's change. But if we are alive, it is for a reason. God bless.
My brother died. And I realise that I'm the worst person. Worst sister. He deserves better. I should've died instead. I deserve a horrible life.
