  • The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week. This can be broken down into as little as 30 minutes a day, five times a week. Surprisingly, this amount of exercise has been linked with reduced risk of chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and even certain types of cancer. What’s even more encouraging is that recent studies show there’s no significant difference in health benefits between moderate exercisers and those who engage in intense, lengthy workouts. #fitness #exercise #health
