CP 7014 leads CP 137 on the NS Detroit and Chicago Lines

What paint scheme can bring me out even on the dreariest of days? If you guessed classic CP, you would be right. CP 7014 was leading daily rack train CP 137 down the Detroit side and onto the Chicago Line west at Butler, IN. So I decided go out despite the less than ideal weather and grab a few shots. Love that heritage scheme!

Filmed: 12/16/2024 Before attending the Whitewater Valley's Polar Express day in the afternoon, I made a pitstop in Farmland, IN on the CSX Indianapolis Line to grab a few morning intermodal trains. I007, I131, and I008 all showed up in about 35-40 minutes of one another, all doing about 55-60 MPH through town. Enjoy!

Filmed: 2/27/2023 A pretty dreary day around Ossian, but a few good trains were scattered through the day. I started the morning with NS 262, then two more trains led by UP engines were back to back in the afternoon. Unfortunatly Indiana Northeastern gave up on the extremely rare frog headlight GP10 1073 after a mechanical failure sidelining the engine for spare parts. It's likely it will be scrapped. But if the INER can bring a GP9 back from the dead, they can do it to the GP10.
