Bye-Bye Bs. Ex-BNSF B40-8s final ride on CSX M332.

A fresh snow had fallen on the ground in east/central Indiana, as M332 charges east across the state line into Union City, OH behind a trio of GEVOs from CSX and UP heritage, followed by 4 ex-BNSF B40-8 GEs headed for scrap at LTEX in Northeast Ohio. These units were in long term storage in Galveston, TX along with a bunch of other units for years. The last unit in the consist still wears its former ATSF "Bluebonnet" Paint, 1 of 2 B40-8s in this paint in existence (outside of a scrap yard). Despite trailing, these locomotives will never get to see the road again, so going down to get some rosters was essential, and the snow on the ground made it even better!
