Chasing NS 8105 through the rain--a rare mileage run on the CERA: 3/23/2023

NS 8105, the Interstate Heritage Unit, made a rare mileage run over the CERA to Kokomo Grain a few days prior to when this was taken. Despite terrible weather being called on the weather forecasts, I decided to brave the cold rain and chase the outbound with the Interstate leading from Kokomo back to Marion a few days later. It had been a while since NS 8105 had made a visit to the area, and to be able to chase it on a line where it would be very simple to keep up with, it was almost a no-brainer. The rain was pretty relentless until it finally decided to let up around Sims and it didn't rain another drop all the way to Goodman Yard. I got soaked, but it was worth it!
