Carol Burnett Comedy Queen
Приєднався 30 чер 2018
The year was 1967, the year I was born, and The Carol Burnett Showed first aired. I was just a tot but the 11 Seasons The Carol Burnett Show was on was part of my childhood. Then came syndication and so I continued with Carol up to my adulthood. Carol is a bright light that brought joy to my household and to the world who watched her belly laughs on the air. From the Garry Moore Show in the early 60's she also gave us her natural ability to make us laugh through sketch comedy, and who can forget her role as Miss Hannigan in the movie Annie 1982. Everything Carol here. Laugh with me and I hope you enjoy my uploads.
Carol Burnett: Funt & Mundane Stage Crew Revenge
Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, and Lyle Waggoner. Early Funt & Mundane sketch. Another stage play sabotage. It's a wonder these two had a stage career at all. 🤣🎭
The opening & closing of the video is just random scenes that I thought to open & close the video; definitely not part of this episode. 😉

Carol Burnett - Lip Sync Challenge **HILARIOUS!! MUST SEE!!**
Переглядів 12 тис.6 років тому
Air Date: November 18, 1968 There was a musicians strike going on at the time so no orchestra. If you were going to sing you lip synced to an album. Carol chose a previous album using The Trolley Song she recorded 8 years prior. Her director challenged her she couldn't do it. Hilarity ensues. *I do not own copyright but so funny wanted everyone to see.

Carol Burnett - Shirley Dimple at 36 Annual Academy Awards

A funny sketch as Shirley Dimple is reluctant to present the award with another child star played by Nanette Fabray. They both sing a cute song "You're My Very Best Friend".

Carol Burnett: Funt & Mundane - Sydney Opera House

Only one time to my knowledge that The Carol Burnett show filmed an episode outside of the United States. The year was 1973 right after Sydney Opera House opened. Enjoy this rare footage of another sabotaged play by the talented Thespians of Funt and Mundane.
It is funny and sad at the same time knowing what was to come. Rita looked lovely, but i thought the sketch was insulting.
This is my first time seeing this since it was aired in 1971 (I was 11) - I've always wanted to see it again! Thanks for sharing it.
The best thing about these parodies is they are still funny even if you don't know the source. I loved these parodies as a young child before I watched any classic movies and watching the originals now makes them even funnier. My favorites are still-It Went With the Wind and Rancid Harvest. "Oh Pete-ah, Pete-ah" and watching Harvey Kormen get conked on the head by everyone.
One of Carol’s finest acting skits. Shows she is a serious comedic actor.
Just came across this sketch and agree wholeheartedly. The comedic skill and acting here are striking.
Amazing how much work they put into this segment, which was just one part of a weekly show!
Mel Torme omg what a treat! I recognized his face but couldn’t place him til he started singing. love this awwww
Whose swimming pool back then? Hers?
❤Funny❤
Too funny, and she was the best talented comedian!
9:21 : Carol's flight over the sofa : expertly done ! 😊👍 What a star !⭐ 🇬🇧😊⭐💙👍🇺🇲
2:55: Harvey's dance before sitting on the couch was very well done : deserved the applause ! And the " business" with the toupee was funny. 👍😊 🇬🇧💙👍⭐😊🇺🇲
A lot of work ! It captured the atmosphere of 42nd St., which by chance I saw a few days ago. Very skilled company.👍🇺🇲 Many thanks ! 😊 🇬🇧👍⭐💙🇺🇲
I love how Harvey acts this way, acting he's so rich, so funny 🤣😂. And carol
Bad, bad, so bad.
🩵🩵🩵 the Carol Burnett show, it brings back so many special memories
They use that in that’s entertainment part 86!
LOVE this … especially the struggle swimming through the flotsam, thr gargles and … wait for it … The Big Ending. (I won’t spoil it.)
This was... actually a lovely tribute to Berkeley! Saw the 42nd Street musical some years ago in London and there was something crunchy missing of the 30s mood that this still has, going all the way for the tacky without being sarcastic or ironic. I love it.
Does anyone know who wrote the music and lyrics? Very funny!
The ham actor stuff was great!
Carol had some great char-women partners. But Lucy and Rita were the best. If only Judy had lived so long...she would have been great on Carol's show...
Not a Carol fan really but they do well with one another here. Nice to hear Rita sing. And you can see who's the real dancer here. Brava Rita!
The female corp dancers all coming out in their underthings was adorable. The male corp dancers coming out in their underthings was hilarious! :)
No, No, Nanette!
01:03 😂😂😂
What Season and Episode is this
One of the best carol burnett sketchs
Terrific skit!
Carol Burnett I love you! I have loved you since I was a little girl! I think you are the reason that humor gets me through every situation! Thank you for posting this
I was listening to Carol’s autobiography and she talked about Rita… ❤ this mirror sketch was in a Bette Midler movie… the one she has a twin sister. 😮
What season was this
Rita had Alzheimer's, how could she be in this? That wig is awful.
Great comedy.
I loved her. So hilarious and sweet. My mother was a very similar to her in looks and humor.
I actually ate at the Brown Derby once.
The best thing about the Carol Burnett Comedy is that the first time you see it it is so hilarious, and the next time you see the same episode it becomes more hilarious...never seems to get boring...One of the greatest Comedy ever.
I liken the Go Wrong show to those Ham Actor skits.
I have worked with so many people who were stupid enough to be rude to secretaries, receptionists, handymen/cleaners/janitors and wait staff. Those "nobodies" have so much power. If you can't treat them with simple human dignity and respect for their work, at least have the intelligence to treat them with fear of how they can make your life hell if you cross them.
😂😂😂 gurrlllllllllllllll this was hilarious
Carol is acting like a child funny
the charwoman skit was fun and all that Harry Cohen knew that with her beauty she looked her best when she was wearing either an evening gown or a nightgown....
Harvey Korman is one of my all time favorite sketch comedians
0:10 The wig fell 😂😂😂😂😂
A drunken Carol falls so many times and she trusted them to catch her each time! 😅😅😅
I came for the red hair. I stayed for the plantain.
"Bon appetit!" "Yeah, isn't it?"
Nunca houve uma mulher como Rita Hayworth ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What's wrong with the sound??
8:17 Rita: I was eating! Carol: It didn’t look like it! Rita: Yes I was eating! 😂😂😂😂😂
The original The Goes Wrong Show.
The reverse diving out the pool is hilarious! <3
