Sinceramente no esperaba una reacción tan negativa, pareciera que la marca original te pago para hablar mal de la China. (No digo que así sea, pero pareciera que si.) Orphee tanto como Ziko, no son cuerdas que buscan replicar a las originales o engañarte con que son unas "daddario, ernie ball, elixir". NO. Las cuerdas reconocen ser Chinas, tambien buscan un enfoque de destacar por si mismas, (cosa que para mi lo han hecho, el sellado al vacio ya dice mucho de lo comprometidos que es la marca.) Y eso ya dice mucho por si misma, diria que son las mejores marcas de aliexpress en cuanto a cuerda se trata. 1) Orphee 2) Ziko La diferencia de este orden es xq ziko (tiene etiquetas con numero de cada cuerda y sus bolas son todas gris) Orphee por otro lado tiene bolas coloridas y la guia esta a traves del color de las bolas, en cuanto al orden de como poner las cuerdas, me gusta mas este sistema, por eso la dejo en primer lugar. Las cuerdas no son algo que dura para toda la vida, lo cual sea original o no, el destino sera el mismo. He visto romper cuerdas originales, al igual que cuerdas de aliexpress (sobre todo las piratas de ernie ball) para mi las piratas ernie ball son pesimas, no tienen sellado al vacio, osea que las cuerdas dentro, vienen expuestas y suelen venir oxidadas y eso es rotura segura. Por esa razón orphee es la mejor de cuerdas. A parte duele mas cuando se te rompe una cuerda original que costo mucho mas cara, que una de marca china que fue un precio mas asequible. Lo unico que me gustaria que hiciera orphee es aumentar calibre, no quedarse en el 11, ir por calibre 12 o 13. Me encantaria esos calibres gruesos en la marca Orphee

Excellent video! It’s easy to dismiss the 609 as sounding thin and bright but a frequency curve can always be adjusted with EQ. It’s crucial to listen for the texture of the sound rather than the frequency balance. Why I think the e609 is far superior to the 57: 1. It’s punchier and has more presence. Not more presence because of the bump at 5k, but it simply sounds like it jumps out towards you, whereas the 57 sounds compressed, more distant and far less dynamic in comparison. 2. Much tighter low end. It doesn’t fart out on palm-muted power chords which, again, makes it punchier. 3. As an extension of point #2, the 609 seems to take high SPL better. The bottom stays tighter and the top doesn’t get crackly when an amp is cranked. 4. The shape is so much more practical. You can even just hang it over an amp or cab without using a stand. When using a stand, you’re far less likely to accidentally move the mic because you bump it with your leg or your guitar cable gets caught on the XLR connector sticking out. The one thing with this mic, and really all dynamic Sennheiser instrument mics, is that you want to take advantage of the proximity effect as much as possible by putting the mic as close to the source as possible. You’ll want to put the mic all the way up against the cloth of the cab, just 1/8” away from touching the cloth. If you can take the cloth/grille off so you can get the mic in even closer, that’s even better. You’ll get more low end punch (it’ll sound less thin) and that low end will be nice and tight.

Not a very touch sensitive circuit. You still need $10,000 worth the digital rack mount processors to not embarrass yourself trying to do EVH's trademark tapping. Otherwise, your brown sounds like 💩

Nope his secret weapon for his tone was a variac. It lowers the amperage to the amp. Thus darkening the sound.

Eddie's early tone was awesome and innovative, but I always preferred his Hagar era tones. Seemed like an evolution of Van Halen goodness.

The 15w version doesn't have that line output option.. Can't you just use the send output? Could that be dangerous for the poweramp stage, given you can't mute it?

Why would you do this demo without 2 amps

It does a pretty cool thing... but I kind of like the effect of the BBE stinger better... especially for bluesy stuff where the overdrive is still chimey and you want a bit more bite to ad to the grit. But it holds its own on heavier tones too, provided you have a little preamp on the front of it. The noise floor can get bad if your guitar signal is weak. I wouldn't mind trying this one out, though. Sound is one thing, but feel is another. It has to have the feel and in the right setting, the guitar practically plays itself.

How do you remove strings from the bridge section of this guitar. I can't seem to find how to pull them out. Not like my regular non HM Strat? Any help would be appreciated.

The normal Katana is for children. This guy is the wirst part of America.

For studio work, the SM57 all the way. Too many variables though, they both could work depending on what you are wanting.

Toggle switch middle position? I see from the schematic that both humbuckers are tapped and the coils are in parallel then. Great sound!

For me the cheap cables always have a 50/50 shot that they're gonna not work in a month. That's the reason to spend more. Cause you just throw money out the window. 1 cable should last you years and years.
