I’m also getting some grand seiko vibes with those dials .. what do you think? In this video i ge...

Wow, great photography, I knew your pictures but I'm just discovering your channel 🤗 I have that exact Caribbean 200T, I feel it fits perfectly on my 7'1 wrist, and I really like that they managed to reduce the thickness so much... And with that design I feel the watch still has a lot of wrist presence even with a smaller diameter. Looking forward to future videos!
Hey great tutorial - Sub’d. Do you know if there were any changes within the Speedy Moonwatch model over the years that make otherwise seemingly compatible bands and bracelets ultimately incompatible? Eg I’ve got an ‘81 speedy Moonwatch that I’d love to put the current Omega sailcloth band + deployant on. My current lug measures 20mm and that band is sold as a 20mm lug band but doesn’t show as compatible in Omega’s ‘compatibility checker’ tool on their website. Again, great vid thanks!
They look nice but I hate that you can’t swap out band
- and thankfully no see thru case back but a nice classy metal back.

Is the AR under or on top (scratchable) ?
Is this a true gmt?
lol......why would you need to pick one stap for all your watches? UA-cam is a strange place. Decent production quality here but as they say, you can't polish a turd. Useless content.
What tool do you use to change the straps and to do not hurt the watch? Thx.
Gorgeous aesthetic

I got a 39,5mm Smoke (silver sunray) dial and a 42mm Blue sunray dial, Both work good for me, although I pers. prefer the larger one.
depends on wrists and personal prefs i'd guess. no wrong choices if it feels good on your wrist
@@BowlOfSalmon Sure it does. Did I say something else?

🤛
How much does it cost?
Dunno exactly. Plenty
Crown & Buckle Matte Supreme NATO, around $30. The best NATOs I’ve seen.
Similar good 👍
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
I wish this was 42mm as I have an 8 inch wrist diameter. However, due to the crystal totally covering the bezel, maybe it wears a little larger than 39mm suggests. Better find one to try on!
hmm this wears rather true to size tbh
Just ordered the dark grey ribbed NATO from Bark and Jack for my black dial explorer 2 on the strength of this video - thanks a lot!
you will enjoy that ! happy holidays
Nice watches but too expensive . There are couple of original Dirty Dozen brands watches better value for money. Praesidus makes a good quality version at a better price but quality is better than Timor offering .
They don’t have a claim to be the og. And I honestly think from all “micro” Brands I’ve seen vertex is up with the best I’ve handled.
love my Explorer 11 - it's the only piece I have bought direct from an AD. Glad I did! I have two toddlers who drool and splurge sticky food all over me and my watch all the time. I used to give a shit about things like that with expensive pieces but now I don't care. This watch is an everyday watch, it can handle whatever you and your kids throw at it. I spent a good few hours doing handy work around the house and did some impact drilling into the walls, that fine dust covered my piece and I was like yeah, this is what it's supposed to be like. No worries, just rinse it off and carry on with life.
Definitely a solid tool. I don’t worry about it as much anymore but like any item I’ll take care of it. Same like you would treat your house or car
@@BowlOfSalmon for sure! Thanks for the video
i’m just a sucker for green dials 😩
Seen the vertex bronze green ?
I just got a Tissot Gentleman 80 Silicium for €500. Superb quality, Swiss movement, I’m getting +-2 seconds. The finishing is awesome. The dial looks superb. No way this watch is worth 4x of that Tissot. I’d love to buy this design, but he lost me with the 2K price. I’d rather buy a Longines for that price. 2K is just crazy. And I don’t even think anyone asked for it.
Well. Many ppl seem not to be bothered. The tissot gentleman was on my shortlist when I started. Great watch. And just stick to what you want 🤛
@ from the comments, I see that many people wanted this super fun design at an affordable price. We want to own it so badly yet the price is so high, it annoys us.
Beautiful but I wouldn’t pay 2000. Less than a 1000 and we have a deal.
I’m OCD. I like to reply to every comment. Preferably with kindness. To each their own, so good luck finding your deal on it
I bought the Professional Edition and found the lume subpar. It doesn’t come with a Tfit. Sad.
Lume isn’t off charts indeed… a tfit with Tudor quality wouldn’t be possible in this price range
When a review of this??
Went back already. I should start more list videos to find a spot to include these
I’ve loved the 300T for years now - it’s an iconic diver and no more so in the Pro Orange. I was really pleased they brought out the slimmed down version which would suit me better but why haven’t I bought one yet? I think it comes down to wearability in terms of how many different environments it would work in and for me, the answer is not very many. Especially as I’d want it in Orange. I’m at the stage of collecting I want to wear everything fairly equally. So I’ll pass for now but would love one in my box for sure some day. Thanks for the video!
Thx for checking in. I also still like the idea any of my watches can suit more situations. Guess that is why I ended up going for the blue
SEIKO DOESN'T FORCE YOU TO BUY IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT❤😮😊
Caps lock was on. How to interpret this
way too expensive
I don’t agree. I know there are plenty of watches / new brands with similar aesthetics. None bring this quality.
Looks superb! 👍❤️👌
I myself prefer the Garmin style velcro straps for comfort & adjustability. And they are very inexpensive so you can get several colors just for fun.
Those are fun indeed
It's a matter of personal taste, but when it comes to more expensive timepieces, I don't feel they need to be "dressed down." NATO straps can be fun, but they pair best with cheaper field watches, which is what they were originally designed for.
fair enough.. I decouple cheap strap from expensive timepiece, but it surely felt like putting lada wheels on a lambo at first .. and I didn't see the point in that when I started.. now it's just part of the tooly character of watches and I like the comfort/look
I am very tall and have a 7 inch wrist. I felt the 200T wore too small for me, but the 300T is perfect. The Caribbean is my preference, but there are many great choices. The 300 Beta is another one I like quite a lot from Doxa, as well as the Army. I do need a Doxa in my life, but I am not sure which one to pick.
It’s great they now have options. The army ones are petty cool too. Thx for watching.
Your Speedmaster absolutely IS water resistant. 100% confirmed by Omega to be perfectly fine for a swim. When Omega says 50m, they mean 50m. NASA astronauts would wear them while doing dive tests and there are people who have showered and gone swimming with them for decades.
i wouldn't panic around some drops but I have other watches more suited for the job. .so i don't see a reason to risk it on a swim
Those Nick Mankey straps (especiallly the new chrono grip) are the WOW!
yup !
One of the nicest videos of a reverse panda Carrera 2023. And thank you for having it next to your Speedy so we can all get a feel on its size. Funny thing is, while Speedy measures at 42mm and Carrera glassbox 39mm, they both look and feel pretty much the same size. Would you agree?
the tag is a lighter wearing watch and feels smaller on the wrist .. while it looks to be wearing taller (i can't remember exact dimensions on both tbh)
wow I hate that bezel on Aristera, looks almost like Chinese knock off...
Strong feelings. It’s just a watch mate
When is the review?
it will make its debut on the sotc vid
I went through 2 Black Bay 58's before arriving at the blue one. Got rid of the other two... The 🔵 is perfect! To me it is the definition of a "vintage inspired" modern (!!) watch. Much more so, than the OG BB58 (and so many others) that to me just seem to be "playing dress up".
ah, I don't see the vintage inspired here at all .. and that is probbaly why I like it that much
@BowlOfSalmon to me, it's vintage inspired, in a subtle way and not as obvious as the guilt-heavy ones. I'm getting Tudor snowflake vibes. But it's not trying too hard, which is what I love about it
Amazing video Tom !
hi Morgan, thanks for dropping in !
Last year I have bought the pano date in blue with bracelet. It is gorgeous
congrats !
Can you swap the strap on the Forza?
needs tools. not sure if there is aftermarket options , they sell em with leather no ?
