Green looks pretty badass to be fair, can see that being the pick of the bunch too. Another stunner video Tom, thanks for all of your hard work, glorious!
Oh my love this. Somehowa vintage look and some Oris BCPD vibes, and somehow those modern lumed markers. The polished inner ring completes it all. Well done Baltic! I'd take the brown
I like the design quite a lot, the size, combined with the short lug to lug is also appealing. The green one is my favourite colour and I would combine it with the beads of rice bracelet. Thank you for the review.
As a person with a darker toned skin, I prefer beige. Dials like the salmon mr01 and the beige dial contrast with my skin tone which fits me well. I might get both of these watches once I save up enough 😅.
These are cool. 37mm is a bit below what I prefer (almost 18cm wrist), so I'd prefer something in maybe the 38.5 or 39mm range. The 20mm lug width does help it look a bit less diminutive though. The beads of rice looks great and would definitely be my preference, though they look great on the tropic straps too. I think the dial design is both vintage feeling and modern. The applied numerals are apparently just coated in lume and not blocks of lume. However, that is understandable at the price point and they still look great. I wish Tudor had created numeral blocks of ceramic lume on their new Ranger release. I probably would have bought one if they had. The blue is my favorite, but the green is a very nice shade as well. Aesthetically the crown looks nice, though I would have to see how it functions in person. That might be a candidate for a watch winder if it's hard to set. I appreciate getting to see these on video as it helps more than even excellent photos when considering a watch. Kudos to Baltic for letting you create a video on these for the announcement.
can I hire you for my copy ? agreed on the lugs , thinner would make it look more in proportion I guess but i'm happy i can slap my 20mm nato's on it ... pictures to prove that on IG ;)
37mm is a bit above what I expected. Explorer is 36mm, and I like 34-36mm the best. I've used that hiding kind of crown with Seiko and I liked it. it was an automatic, so the crown wasn't used much.
I rather have the inconvenience of having a harder time setting the time than the risk of the crown getting damaged by banging it into something. Love what they did.
My pick was the beige, it is a good watch. What I would optimize? The position from the numbers and indexes, these are not so perfect placed like my much higher cost watches. Also my watch was regulated with +18s/day. It is innthe range, but not so nice ... unter 10 sec. should be possible 😊
Nice watch, I like the dial, the crown as well and the dome crystal. But I particularly like the 2-watches case. I hope they paid you to plug their case coz I might buy it 🤩
A lot to love, but with my experience of the BoR on my MR01 - it lets the watch down in terms of quality and feel. As always though, great looking watches from Baltic. Top marks for the video too 👌🏻🔥
I was looking to get the brown on beads of rice. Thing you have made my mind up with your great review! Is the rubber supplied aswell if you pay extra for the bracelet?
Would have to try the non protruding crown in real life to see if it works, but the looks are fantastic. The beige one is really up my alley and, as a watch I would only wear from time to time, I could probably live with the poor accuracy of the movement. Well done, Baltic 🇫🇷
Tom, where are the nato strap pics?? Great review but the whole time I was hoping to see a shot on a nato🙈😅 I’ll keep an eye out in instagram for those pics if you get around to it😁😁
@@BowlOfSalmonNo worries, your commitment to production value shows! Great review! These were actually the two colors I was debating between, and your review has convinced me to go team beige.
Very nice but to small i am 6ft 2 /17 stone it I'd be like a pimple on my arm people come in different sizes why not baltic watches I'd buy nearly every batic at 42mm
Lol, 37mm not your sweet spot with a 16.5cm wrist. That's average, 36-40mm should be your sweet spot depending on the watch type. As for baltic, great watches but the tropic straps are too stiff and the beads of rice bracelet should have more of a taper, something to work on.
I guess sweet spot means preference. And my preference would hover more around 39-42 I guess. And for the straps. Change em up a bit ? That is the fun part for me. Cool on a nato too
@@BowlOfSalmon I have the aquaschaphe which I really like, to the point where I ended up selling some of my other divers, so I do appreciate the brand/design. My comment is not so much about swapping out the straps for something else, I just feel like they cheaped out on the tropic strap that's provided but it looks like they have now introduced FKM straps for this series of watches, which could be an improvement.
Here we go again, hyping Baltic watches. My experience with the MR01 is that the finish was mediocre, the mvnt was loud and clunky and it felt really cheap.
Baltic did a good job on the dial, I quiet like it. But they failed miserably on the Lugs. It overhangs way too much, beyond the end links of the steel bracelets, making it look ugly. Another thing is that the winding crown will be very difficult to wind. I will pass on this one, sadly
Crown is attrocious, the design bland and uninspiring, beads of rice bracelet while nice, not my jam. Movement precise and a workhorse, but overused and rattly. Price, to much, size good for smaller wrists only. Overall score, meh nothing to write home about.
I agree on the crown. I have a watch with a similar design that I don't wear any more because the crown is impossible to wind. The watch company says you don't need to wind it since it's an automatic. Well, if you give the watch a shake to get the auto started, that winds the watch for about 20 seconds, then it stops.
The design is objectively not bland or uninspired. A movement being "overused" is probably the most sperg thing I've ever heard. You're trying to be a movement hipster lol?
My favourite colours in sequence: 1. Brown (great contrast), 2. Beige, 3. Blue, 4. Green
2,4,1,3 for me. I made it challenging for you too decipher
My fav color is always blue. Most of my shirts are dark blue, most of my pants are dark blue as well.
I’d like to see the beige dial on a brown strap or tropical.
Love the brown dial on the beads of rice bracelet. What a release!
brown grew on me
Green looks pretty badass to be fair, can see that being the pick of the bunch too. Another stunner video Tom, thanks for all of your hard work, glorious!
Curious to see that irl myself now. Colour looks more muted than I thought
Brown looks fantastic
I was surprised by that too. Seen the nomos in brown ?
Dang! The dial is a beauty.
Oh my love this. Somehowa vintage look and some Oris BCPD vibes, and somehow those modern lumed markers. The polished inner ring completes it all. Well done Baltic! I'd take the brown

Good choice! Def BoR ! Thx for watching
Love the numerals on this. The beige one is lovely, they’ve done a really nice job with these. Incredibly tempted 😅
Im here to enable. Thanks for watching !
I am in love with this new Baltic watch,I have as of yet to be disappointed by Baltics designs.
I guess it’s inevitable … Oct 10
Tom what an awesome video! I was mesmerised by that footage, literally!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thx Morgan
Offering a bit more every time, way to go Baltic! The recessed crown steals the show.
it is good at hiding.... recessed .. need to remember that word
As a person with a darker toned skin, I prefer beige. Dials like the salmon mr01 and the beige dial contrast with my skin tone which fits me well. I might get both of these watches once I save up enough 😅.
I already lost my summer tan. But I totally get how the beige will pop !
Wow is really so nice watch 👌👍 I really like beige and I believe green had great contrast for a numerals 👌 thank you for a great review my friend 🙏👍😎
Thanks for watching 🙏
That's just beautiful. Baltic continue to do great things.
Thank you 🙏
J'adore les 2 coloris et je sais pas laquelle choisir.
Très belle vidéo.
Merci ! Choix difficile
Baltic. Some watch companies take your money. Baltic takes your heart. HUGE fan of Baltic!
Well. Still your money too right ?
Baltic make The Best tropic straps, i have white, black and blue and now i want green too.
Get the watch to go with it 😂

Thank you very much for the great review. I would prefer a black dial version for a field watch. The other color dials are not to my liking.
Thx for your kindness. Maybe down the line there are some iterations coming
Great review again Tom. Moving up the ranks as favorite you tuber.
Wow, thanks!🙏
Perfection. Brown
I just subscribed to your channel. I like that green with the tropic strap. Nice looking watch!
Thx mate !
I rather have the inconvenience of having a harder time setting the time than the risk of the crown getting damaged by banging it into something. Love what they did.
Unlike the crown. The look grew on me.
Simply wonderful 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Will look awesome on bonklip bracelet
Gotta try that. I don’t own a bonklip
Top work mate. Beige on beads of rice for me. 😍👌
Thanks Joey. Mine too!
37 mm seems perfect for your small wrist. I love it!
It does!
I will wait for Serica new field watch. 4 days left to premiere. Then make a decision.
They are updating the existing one right ?
@@BowlOfSalmon Yes, with new movement and possibly slimmer case.
This is a homerun

The blue and green looks yummy on the screen
so you are saying I did bad with the beige & brown at my disposal ? hehe ;)

I believe the BoR has been upgraded over the early models tho. Thanks for the compliment
Excellent review, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
subbed all! great vid quality!
🙏🙏Thanks for the sub!

I would assume it it .. but check with their support i'd say
That beige 😍
🤜🤜
love it

Most watches can get away with the accuracy since I have only that many wrists
This is not new. Seiko 5 watches had if a long long time ago.
Magnifique 👌
Merci

i know i know i know . but , and this was before you said anything .. the beige is currently on a sand b&j nato already (pics on ig)
Ok, which microbrand will put a date on a small classic sized field watch with domed sapphire first?
Lets add a dive bezel to The field watch too 🤭
@@BowlOfSalmon Something like R Turn-O-Graph with a narrow bezel. Would be a killer .
Green looks good. Brown not so sure.
I’d expect those to be the most and least popular. But brown still looks good
The bracelet have the classic taper to match the classic size and styling.... Kind of missing that.
Agreed. But an economical choice I would guess
Does the lume last long?
I managed to check the time on my bedstand this morning and the daylume
Is pleasant!
@@BowlOfSalmonnice! Good to know. Thank you.
Are those tropic straps from baltic?
yip, all featured straps here came with the watch from baltic
They needed a red sand colored dial. Pretty much salmon dial but desert inspired.
A desert salmon. How dry
I assume it’s just a regular pull push crown, right?
it is yes ... sorry for missing silly technical details :) sometimes I focus too much on the production aspect
@@BowlOfSalmonNo worries, your commitment to production value shows! Great review! These were actually the two colors I was debating between, and your review has convinced me to go team beige.
this is a good watch for hunting!
so what color would that be ? brown or green ?
@@BowlOfSalmon brown for autumn hunting, green for summer casual.
The 20mm lug width is too big for the size of the case, which looks even smaller than 37 mm because the colored portion of the dial is not full width.
Maybe. But also doesn’t make it feel small for me like that
This watch would be good next to chopsticks eating a bowl of salmon
Missed you
Beige has sold out first for the first 200 numbered.
Not surprised

Like you have been waiting. Cute
beautiful watch but the movement is garbage. too bad.
Miyota last time I checked
How is Miyota 9000 garbage?

Failed miserably sounds awfully harsh. But thx for sharing your opinion
Why they can´t do these watches also in 40mm??? 36-37mm look like a toy in most wrist
Upscaling a design doesn’t really work like that I’m afraid. Check out vertex for manly sized bigger field watches if this doesn’t work for you.

The indexes of the brown look beige, while those of the others look white. Is this the case or are the indices the same in all 4 versions?
Been a while since I handles these. Same I guess. I think it’s just the mind playing tricks as beige and white are less contrasty.
