I don’t always agree with Candace on every stance, but this was a thought-provoking interview from a strong Christian perspective, which I thoroughly enjoyed. You can see Nick Cannon wrestling with his words, his expression hardening, just like the heart can when confronted with truth.

I am not sure if Nick is interested in absolute truth!! I have no reason to doubt him, so I will assume that he is. If he is this gentleman, he is the last person who he should be listening to. I believe that because of the guests' likable personality and interesting story, people assume that his teachings are rooted in Biblical truth. However, there are some very serious issues regarding some of his "Biblical" perspectives. Very dangerous!

At about 26:30 when he switches it to say it is ancestral and comes from the way he saw his father/grandfather treated, although he glazed passed it, I believe what he actually just revealed is he is hypersensitive so ANY THING that looks like perceived disrespect he will rebut and flee from. Then somehow blames the woman (or other person in general) when in fact, he requires the ability to not be so easily triggered and have the ability to talk and work through things instead of operating through avoidance. Then a woman who doesn't realize this is happening because she has shortcomings, embodies the blame he is projecting on her. Thus creating or perpetuating two very broken people. These type of people (not just men) are dangerous in many ways. I truly hope we all are delivered from this behavior, no matter what side you find yourself on.
