    My instructor has been expressing the importance of the stance and putting weight on the inner portion of the right leg and foot. I was not using my legs properly which was causing my swing to go from the outside in which generated poor results. I saw the proof on the Trackman. This video reinforces my lessons. Thank you!

    I have been playing this crazy game for 60Years as well as studying the golf swing. I watched two of your videos and learned things I have never seen before.
    The most impressive thing was how you explained the position of the hips at the top of the backswing and how the left hip is higher at the finish of the downswing with the right hip going under the right.
    Many Thanks and I will be telling a lot of people about your skills

    This explanation is perfect. I have really been struggling with the idea of rotation versus sway, very helpful. Many thanks.😊

    I've watched a lot of videos, but this is the first time I've heard about how important the right knee movement is to get the right hip under the left hip. That is extremely helpful, and I think that will help me tremendously. Thank you very much for sharing that insight. Your videos are excellent at demonstrating the important concepts clearly.

      This is very nice to read. And yes the hipmovement is a very critical moment. It can help and destroy so much in your swing. I so know it from my own swing... Lets work on it :)

    No I didn't know about the positions or how my left wrist should be at the top. Thanks very much.

    Appreciate the demonstration of these key points. What has hit a chord with me is that ‘the right hip should be below the left hip.’ That visual is very helpful to get the correct movement coming through the ball. Thanks!!!

    This was eye opening for me. The stretch I got in the shoulder and arm muscles on the backswing and then exploding from the inner thigh on the downswing was a new sensation for me. It is very much like pulling a bow back and releasing the arrow.

    Thank you for redirecting me from the hip turn video to this another great video. Do you personally start your down swing by moving your trail knee, roll the trail hip or step on the front foot turn the front hip up and back and straighten front leg or move the front glute back then turn your front hip to straighten the front leg then the trail hip and knee follow by rolling? Thanks!

    Always knew golf was round and round, and not side to side. Never thought about the round and round being on a tilt. Something definitely to work on here in Ohio during the winter. Never to old to learn something new even as a senior golfer.

      As you said, you are never to old to learn. I still learn sooo much about the swing after playing 36 years and also played and coached it for living for the last 21 years. How is the practise situation in Ohio?

    A question on the practice for downswing. As the hands go past the body towards the target, should the palms flip over? That is, should the right palm go face down and the lead palm face up to represent the correct release. I’m told this kind of release is needed to close the club face especially with the driver. Can you please share your thoughts? Thanks

    • @martina_eberl_coaching_en
      @martina_eberl_coaching_en  Місяць тому

      HI, well the release will happen definitely but not on purpose or lets say if you roll your hands like crazy through impact, you have now sense of control of your clubface. But also you don't wanna block it. So if you let it happen, it will turn after impact and once the clubface was towards the target line! Hope I could help!

    Hi Martina, is the push coming more from your right side (foot) or left side? I assume everyone is different. Or maybe both. Thanks

      If you mean the initial move to start the downswing, its certainly the right foot!

    so the components in any swing are like domino`s martina,
    once the takeaway is instigated, they all should fall in sync,
    in a seamless dynamic kind of chain reaction, 👍😇

    • @martina_eberl_coaching_en
      @martina_eberl_coaching_en  4 місяці тому

      I wish it would be like this in every Golfswing, but unfortunately not a 100%. But I totally agree, if you do the Take-Away in a better way, the foundation is set and you can work from there. Once the Take-Away fails, its hard to go ahead in the right way....
