How do u feel about these a year later ? Were they bright enough or do you wish you went with infinite bars instead ? Did lack of brightness affect image ? How well have they held up thus far ?

Hey Johnny, great video man. Would love to know, were there any specific industries this method seemed to work better for? I'm trying to work with restaurants for example and they don't seem to be that active on email.

Phantom LUTS specifically says to expose normally with their user manual 🤷🏼‍♂️.

FX3 has a harsh look. I never noticed before. Also, the C70 has more dynamic range in the first comparison. More highlight definition in the highlights on the face and more mid tone and shadow info on the shirt. The FX3 just fades away. Same with the rolloff on the right arm. More color variation and mid tone from shadow to highlight. Is that an exposure issue with the FX3?

Sony is absolute king for video. The auto focus and stabilization is 100x better. The AF tracking is a MUST for solo shooters. It's so frustrating with Canon's "face detect", it ALWAYS looses focus when the person turns around or it can't see their face. Sony you can simply just track a point in space without it being a face. Used both the C70 and R5C and I 10000x prefer the FX6 and FX3, A7IV, etc.

How did you get the video to play right in the body of the email? Help please

I bought a ford transit connect (extended length) about the same time you bought yours, and had the same plans to build it out to be perfect for my needs. But I realized I’m not as handy as I need to be and it takes a lot of smart skills to do it well. So still loving having a van but it’s not optimized yet. I use two carts and a ramp and that is working pretty well. I was just so tired of loading in and out of the SUV and inevitably would forgot to pack something, but either way the van, most things I really need are always in there. Thanks for sharing!

Mini XLR is not an issue at all and at least you can use them without the handle !

Did you feel the 600D was enough light output for this lighting setup? Did wanting to have the 1200d EVER cross your mind? Just curious. I want to do more booklight setups and wondering if I would regret going with a 600d instead of a 1200d.

Thanks for the video! Would simply pointing a key light against a white wall at an angle where it bounces off the wall towards the subject, count as a valid diffusion technique?

I'm in the 6th minute of the video. I do like the content of your speech but the music is so distracting... I would love to watch this video again without all of those distractions, like the trumpet in the background and the squirrel nuts or the new follower. Like I said, I love the content you want to hand over, and this is why I'm here but all those distractions just take my time because I lose focus on what you are speaking about. I had to rewind quite a few times.

The Canon CLog2 wins for me; more 3D look, nicer dark and shadow tones, skin looks natural. The FX3 looks a little flat compared to the Canon.

FX3 is better overall but not by much.

But without the Sony top handle, you don't have any sound. The C70 has audio solutions built in.

Question, is there anything you miss about the C70?

Internal NDs are indispensable. I’d take the Canon every time.

I have a question. what is wrong with the R5c? beside internal Nd and a full-size HDMI.

not too sure if the light big diffusior in front of the floppy really broadens up the light source (3:56)? To my taste it could be more dense (with heavier light requirements of course)?
