Did you feel the 600D was enough light output for this lighting setup? Did wanting to have the 1200d EVER cross your mind? Just curious. I want to do more booklight setups and wondering if I would regret going with a 600d instead of a 1200d.

Thanks for the video! Would simply pointing a key light against a white wall at an angle where it bounces off the wall towards the subject, count as a valid diffusion technique?

I'm in the 6th minute of the video. I do like the content of your speech but the music is so distracting... I would love to watch this video again without all of those distractions, like the trumpet in the background and the squirrel nuts or the new follower. Like I said, I love the content you want to hand over, and this is why I'm here but all those distractions just take my time because I lose focus on what you are speaking about. I had to rewind quite a few times.

The Canon CLog2 wins for me; more 3D look, nicer dark and shadow tones, skin looks natural. The FX3 looks a little flat compared to the Canon.

FX3 is better overall but not by much.

But without the Sony top handle, you don't have any sound. The C70 has audio solutions built in.

Question, is there anything you miss about the C70?

Internal NDs are indispensable. I’d take the Canon every time.

not too sure if the light big diffusior in front of the floppy really broadens up the light source (3:56)? To my taste it could be more dense (with heavier light requirements of course)?

Hmm definetly dont see the fx3 as the main competitor to the c70. Built in audio, internal NDs, raw makes it more compariable to the fx6 in my opinion..i do agree full frame is a plus.

C70 - yes the mini XLRs are annoying and the lack of EVF on both cameras is negative to me. Canon has made some significant firmware upgrades in the C70 and once you have built-in NDs VERY hard to go back.

35mm is 45mm equivilant full frame, if you used a 40mm lens on c70 or speedbooster you'll have more of the same.

You have to test them side by side in different scenarios/lighting. Only then you will see the differences quite clearly. C70 looks more filmic and fx3 looks kinda digital. Coming from someone who owned both. Love the fx3 for its form factor, full frame and autofocus. Meh lowlight unless you bump it up to 12,800 then it looks good but then you have to stack nd’s and heavy noise reduction makes image kinda plasticky. Still great. C70 has lovely image and internal ND’s which is awesome to have. Super 35 not a bad thing but C70 is a bit huge and clunky. I kept c70 purely for the secret sauce cinematic image and internal Nd’s and monitoring tools like waveform and false color.

The Sony looks fantastic. The great thing is that you can pair down with the FX30 or FX6 to pair up

I always see dozens of videos on instagrma and youtube talking about the same thin"how much should i charge for my videos" "what kind of camera should i buy" none of it ever answers the most vital question "how do i get more and consistent clients and work" your video actually answers and explains how to complete the most important part, which is getting yourself out there and starting to contact these brands and clients. Very nice job.
