Thanks for the video, really helpful. I don't remember if you said but a diference between both is that 600D PRO is whatherproof and the 600D isn't. But for studio productions and if it isn't a problem, the 600D really looks the best way. I'm from Brazil, going to buy a 600D next week. Actually I do work with Amaran 200D, so its gonna be a huge good one.
Thanks for the LS 600d unboxing video. I received mine today. I was concerned that no remote was included and none of the gear was wrapped in plastic (though good for the environment). But after watching your video everything looks the same. I think you have to use the app to control the light. I find the controller wheel too small to use it properly.

Definitely don't see the sense in shelling out an extra $500 for features that have no affect on the maximum output of the light, except for the extra precise .1% incremental adjustments which to me is getting too technical and unnecessary. $500 can go towards another Aputure light.

Which would you recommend? 600D vs. 300DII for key light for talking heads?
600d will give you more flexibility if you end up doing a setup outside or near a bright window. My vote would be the 600d.
I have both and to have the option of more or less light I would go with the 600D with 150 Dome
There is also no weather sealing on the non pro version. I wish they would have done that.
Very true. We haven't found ourselves in a situation where its needed, but blackwrap or a poncho bag would solve that.
