The rhythm will still play when you hit rec/play on the tracks. so when you want a section of a song to have no rhythm its not possible. I am still struggling to have different parts to my songs. e.g. verse then chorus

I need one device such as this, to make singing voice layers live, with playback tracks. I'm a singing artist, that creates layers with voices, and I was considering the RC 600 for that, would you think works fine for it? I was also considering the Boss RC 505. Thanks.

Is there a way to keep single mode but also force to change the loop when needed?(Like correcting a mistake e.t.c)But like fast, I know you can double step on stop to stop and start the new loop,if you could double step the other loop to start it instantly,that'd be cool

Great video 👏 Can you have three insert effects on loop 1 (mic 1 ) and then say 3 insert effects on loop 2 (instrument 1) independent of eachother ? So that if I assign them to midi switches I can change 3 insert effects at once for the different loops ?

transitioning from the rc300 to 600 has been unbelievably frustrating. the 600 is incredibly unintuitive. The boss boneheads seemed to have gotten lucky with the 300 and ed sheeran making it famous. Boss seems to have very little idea of how people actually use this thing or how to make it so a human can understand and navigate the menus. Thanks for your help

Does anyone know if this is possible in single mode? As each track is a different section in single mode, I can’t separate the instruments and mics and everything is coming through my guitar amp (Sub1) as well as a through the main output Would appreciate any advice you can offer!

Great and very helpful but I have another question….. how can I make it so that when I stop a loop it goes back to the start or when I start a playback of a loop it is always starting at the beginning?

One of my tracks in which I have a long chord progression loop for solo does not start from begining sometimes. Any guess why? I have single track setting too.

is it possible to assign two fx bank to two inputs and use them simultaneously. I play guitar and sing at the same time. Both my guitar input and mic inputs need fx. I can make only one fx bank active at a time which is assigned to one input; another input does not receive fx. How am i suppose to get two fx banks for two inputs at the same time

I wish certain track could be assigned certain input fx bank. So that if i play certain track, corresponding fx bank in applied to input only without affecting the playback. Is there a way to do that?

Hi Teej - Great I found someone using it with the rhythm in verse chorus song mode. I've just purchased this second hand RC600, with the latest software update, so I've got my L plates on. But when I try to copy your directions sometimes it does not respond to your intended outcomes ? I suspect because the previous owners setup is not allowing your program patterns to materialise. So is it possible for me to know what your basic setup for the machine is so I can get mine in that ballpark ? That would be wonderful and much appreciated Cheers Kev e. kevin@kevinborich.com.au

I have a question if you can help! If you use the Rc 600 in single mode for example import loops for every single switch ( Intro,Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Solo, Outro) and change them between with the functionality that they will wait the loop ends to play the next one and if the loops that you import have a reverb tail (decay) will the rc 600 will let the tail play or will it cut the loop immediately?

Exactly what I wanted to know. It can be sooo long setting up a song, and this halves the time (you can sing while playing the first verse and then just have the instrument loop).

Do you have any idea how to adjust the drum (rhythm) level when recorded and overdubbed with additional instruments like guitar, piano or blowing lines in the same track? I am using single mode for all tracks because I do arrange each song by part. Meaning I create for example the whole part 1 arrangement with all the instrument sounds needed in one track then do the chorus on the next track the same way and so on and so fort because I use different rhythm variation for each part... but my problem is the drum level is always too low if you switch off the rhythm button after recording compare to the other recorded sounds!! Do you have any idea? Would be great and thanks in advance.

I dont have that feature on mine meaning i have to upgrade the software which means it will be unusable :/ Edit: just found out turning loop synch off solves the problem. Phew Edit: when the loop synch off after a while it loses the rhythm synching. What is the point of loop synch off it its not gona keep track of the rhythm? I give up

Once this os done the effects don't get recorded. Any solution?

this is crucial! few of my songs have the same number of measures in each section. loop sync must always be set to MEASURE. now i have to double check 40+ song memory’s. ug

Hi, phantastic, thanks a lot! what i still miss is (what has been possible on rc-300) if you have all tracks at auto masure, and loopsync is on BUT on looplength, that you can go from one record to another, imidiatly. what happens to me is i go for Rec (4 bars) overdub (same 4 bars) and than dirrectly to Rec on track 2, that it lets me wait, untill the next bar comes... Rc300 could swich dirrectly. :-/

Thank you for the nice video! I switched from RC - 50, and now I have opposite trouble. While I am recording keyboard, there is no sound, but when I finish the recording, the RC - 600 plays back, what I recorded. Please, could you give me some hint?

When you say play stop I think you mean stop clear? If not I'm confused about how to follow this tutorial as I have it set as defaults.

how can I change the variation of the rhythm to any fraction of a beat, or is it impossible? The bars are not only 4/4 in length, they can be 1/4, 1/2, 1/3.

My issue with modern boss loopers is u can no longer use your first loop recording to automatically set the tempo....😢

Can I ask if you are on Loop sync with Measure, is that better in someway than just timing for clicks with your foot pedal at the end of the bar? Is that more difficult than using looP sync. I’m really not quite clear what advantage loop sync does.

I see people building their own rhythms, is there a way to turn off the click or rhythm altogether? are the performances I'm seeing, they're just turning the built in rhythm volume down to zero? Loading a blank template from the rhythm converter? Thanks.

Teej, how can I record the INTRO in a track? And play it without the RHYTHM playing with the track, or play the track even if I turn OFF INTRO PLAYBACK? like making the intro fills part of the track recorded?
