I'm having a problem that I can't seem to find an answer to on the internet. I know how to make nice edges but for some reason my cast on row tends to curve and not be straight I don't know how to fix this. I tend to use the knitted cast on or the cable cast on method. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

I have had an issue for a few years. I have autism and adhd. I have issues with mathematics and learning new things or at least takes forever. For a year i tried making knee high socks but having issues figuring out to get my measurements to match the pattern and figure where to make modified increases? I am a physical learner but i need fundamentals taught in creative ways so i can try to figure it out. I would love to have a side hobby passion for yarn products and make original designs. Thank you and have a wonderful day!!

I notice you flipped your work after you finished casting on. Do you flip any more after this? You continue working in the round, changing stitch patterns if requested in the pattern. Are there more videos on completing the body of a sweater then how to transition to yoke and or sleeves?

I'm using the recommended needle size that's in the pattern and my cast on row seems pretty tight like you said it would. Might be a dumb question, but if I continue using these needles, will my project turn out smaller than it's supposed to? At the moment it seems a lot shorter than the 18" its supposed to be when finished on the short side

Thank you! I knit because my Grandmother taught me knitting and embroidery. I don’t knit fast. It’s meditative and calms me. I feel truly connected with my Gran when I knit. I need to do something because of carpel tunnel but I’ll switch to Flicking and still go slow. Thank you for sharing your story. Many of us relate!

I really love the way that you teach how to knit or crochet. You are very detailed and you take your time. I have a tip for you we're talking about the stoppers put on the end of your knitting needles to protect the tips. Just get some orange foam ear plugs to put on the tips. They work perfectly and they're cheap.😊

I am re-Learning how to follow a knitting pattern after many years of not knitting. I must have missed something but after 3 ridges are created in this "Heirloom" hat, I have 138 stitches. This is my 3rd time redoing the hat as it appears to mushroom out with all the "YO" stitches added. Nothing in the video addresses this. It is too too large for a Newborn when finished. It looks nothing like the one shown in this video. Please tell me what I may have missed or done incorrectly?

I've done this, even for labeled balls. That way I don't have to fuss with turning the skein all around to find where I wrote the color designation. Although I normally use a separate piece of cardboard that I can save for later color schemes!

Question. Is it wrong to knit like he is with a single color? The hand gestures. I crochet, braid, weave, and now knit, guys the traditional methods do not feel right in my hand and I know I’m training my brain to do a new thing. It doesn’t flow to me although I see people pick up speed, my way works splendidly for me. Both European and American, I just feed the yarn with it between both my index and middle fingers and pretty much place the yarn like he does w the index.
