Hope the wheels are good and durable enough....the course should not be too bumpy. Be careful of the expansion gaps on the way down sheares bridge, it's like a much faster / extended version of what you see on WCH or elsewhere. lol Some might be ok while others might be unsettling.
But i guess, good luck and just wing it on race day. lol

i think the garmin run club training helped. We had to run at our target pace which was lots of 4:45-5:15min pace runs for 8-18k twice a week

How to improve my 1km run times for (hyrox)? Do i do more compromised runnings i.e 1km to hyrox station or more intervals 1km intervals at race pace with 1:1 work rest ratio or more threshold/lactate threshold training i.e 2km intervals with 60s rest?
Depends which energy system youll be doing during hyrox! If youll be running at threshold then include threshold intervals.
@@aaroiseverything i see.. so more threshold intervals > intervals. I heard threshold pace is +/- 10s of your 10km pace. What do you think?
@@MrFyce peoples 10km can be from 30mins to 1hr plus hahaha. threshold is roughly 1hr max effort. I like to do just 40min straight at threshold. no intervals.

I don't think the spikes are really all that useful for those who aren't training for track events. They probably add a ton of training fatigue due to the much lower amount of cushion. Maybe you should keep them if you want to explore doing some track events.
Even so idk if they are actually faster on the track haha. Maybe more testing needed

Hi Aaron, it's complusory need obtain 50mcg b12? Because i am vegetarian,and i found it usually vit b supplement usually only have 10mcg b12 😮
Best to get blood test done and see if u are deficient in any nutrients as well. Theres b12 in fortified foods too

@@aaroiseverything i wonder if going by the "national team route" is the way to do full ironman WC? The bike course sux for the Duathlon as you described. Yes i have done roughly that kind of course on the last 2 years of T100 in Singapore. You can just sign up with Ironman or T100 and clock your pro result and qualify for WC instead. Go for some of the "easier" races (eg Taiwan) to qualify. Aust WA IM just ended but those aussies rocked with super fitness. All the best and hope you enjoy this great journey. I wished I have started earlier at your age.
@ ironman wc is another matter. My goal is to make ironman pro membership first haha

Hi, what would you rate the race overall ? I all looking at Phu Quoc as my first 70.3 next year. Is the bike course really flat ? because my other choice is Langkawi and not really fan of hilly course Thanks !!
Id recommend it! Nope the bike is not totally flat, couple of short climbs but nothing long and steep. Bike was cloudy that day so only the run was hot. I like that the race starts earlier at 6am, another less hour of sun than other races😄

Regarding puncture, I suggest you add the tube liner protector. It sits between tyre and inner tube. Do not use TPU inner tube too. Go for traditional kenda or continental inner tube. Overall your timing is still very impressive!
But butyl tubes r slow 🤣 im thinking of tubeless anyway

The harder u train the more quality rest recovery u need can consider doing a video on your plans for pre during post for sleep, hydration, nutrition, strength and flexibility. Then let those who did it comment. Good luck for your race.

@@aaroiseverythingcuz u young no rusty cog n bolt yet la. For me I take at least 500ml of water per hour. Too little fluid I feel thirsty, too much I become slow. Salt tablets r expensive so my replacement is orange peel I suck on it while running. Nose breathing to keep hr low. Above 20km. every hour 1 gel. Alternate hour banana or chocolate bar but my pace is double of yrs so u r fitter u can finetune better. 😊 N I noticed if I sleep less than 6 hr my body ache alot. Every week I do 1hr yoga to stretch out the joints. Google yoga for runners. For pros they do ice tub? U could buy 711 ice pack n soak ur legs n I believe jb Thai massage does aid in recovery for less cost. Take anti inflammatory food. If I notice any abnormal pain I rest. Once I tore my adl 6 months wasted. Setup a ritual and don't shortchange yourself. +U
