The harder u train the more quality rest recovery u need can consider doing a video on your plans for pre during post for sleep, hydration, nutrition, strength and flexibility. Then let those who did it comment. Good luck for your race.
@@aaroiseverythingcuz u young no rusty cog n bolt yet la. For me I take at least 500ml of water per hour. Too little fluid I feel thirsty, too much I become slow. Salt tablets r expensive so my replacement is orange peel I suck on it while running. Nose breathing to keep hr low. Above 20km. every hour 1 gel. Alternate hour banana or chocolate bar but my pace is double of yrs so u r fitter u can finetune better. 😊 N I noticed if I sleep less than 6 hr my body ache alot. Every week I do 1hr yoga to stretch out the joints. Google yoga for runners. For pros they do ice tub? U could buy 711 ice pack n soak ur legs n I believe jb Thai massage does aid in recovery for less cost. Take anti inflammatory food. If I notice any abnormal pain I rest. Once I tore my adl 6 months wasted. Setup a ritual and don't shortchange yourself. +U
Brother, I just started to run around 1 year but still strugle to improve speed. My current PB of 5K was 23minute. And I have been trying to do a lot more speed training but seem I can't improve it, my pace cannot run sub 23minute. May you help share some idea or tip to improve 5K speed to do sub20?
The best way is to use a lactate meter. But for most people its 70% of max hr or a pace you can make a full sentence uncomfortably. (A few large breaths after the sentence)
Not trying to take anything away from that because it is impressive to run that much in a week but running 7min pace on easy runs is what most would consider garbage miles wich don’t have any training effect. But still impressive to get through the week with that much time on the feet.
Another great and interesting video! Your endurance and enduring the fatigue is already enough for me to get inspired by you!!
Aaron you legend hope to see you this sun :)
It was an honour to be paced by you! 🤣👍
Great job!
you’re so efficient, running 22 clicks burns you less than 1k calories! on the other hand running a half marathon burns me nearly 2k calories!!
Aerobic BEAST!
What brand is your eyeglasses? It doesn't seem to move and fog through your runs, I need it

You should try Kelvin Kiptum's week (250-300KM) 😂
And 2 long tempo runs that could up to the full marathon distance, so 2h long tempo runs
Terrified of this hahaha

I think mileage is more important. Increase that weekly without intervals :)
How do I determine what’s my zone 2 heart rate? Or what speed should I run at?

Training in carbon plated shoes is bold. Easy to get injured.
Yeah not all the time!

Me too, but eliud wanted me to run easy 😬
