Incredible video thank you
“but you’re only in your 20s!!” hello it’s not an age thing?? 👵
Is there any GF places in central london?
Lots! I have a map on my website xx
@@howtocoeliac aww that's great. :)
@@howtocoeliac would you trust Chinatown in london to be gf?
@@seankelly9447 depends on the restaurant. I don’t think I’d write off a whole area though
I think it's possible or even likely that this product might be able to break down some amount of gluten. The amount of gluten consumed, the dosage and the timing of administration will also likely affecting how well it works. It sounds kind of like birth control that works around 60% of the time. I suppose even marginal birth control is better than no birth control according to the lady with seven children, that claims she would otherwise have had 12.
Can u pin 📌 pls ❤
So smooth ❤❤
You sure your mom doesn’t have it? As well, It’s generic.
Yeah I know - it’s only a 1 in 10 chance though. She’s been tested I believe and doesn’t have it.
Is there a food itinerary? Or a list of all the places you talk about? Thanks!
I just was told to stay away from gluten my body can't digestive and need to find out what replace it
I feel you! Even when it's a small cross contamination, I am out for at least a few days, it feels like hell on earth! Thanks for sharing!
BEEN ON A CARNIVORE MEAT/EGGS DIET FOR 3 WEEKS AND HAD A STEAK AND 5 GRILLED SHRIMP. THE FAV RESTAURANT IS FAMOUS FOR THEIR GLUTEN ROLLS AND ALL THE REST OF THE DINERS HAD THEM. THEY WERE SITTING IN A BASKET RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME BUT I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THEM OR THE BASKIET. A COUPLE HOURS LATER I HAD A REACTION AND STILL ILL TODAY. WHAT HAPPENED!!!!???
Thank you so much for this, extremely helpful. I remember the days when traveling was so scary and a chore but videos like this made me so excited for my trip! So many places within walking distance of my hotel. Thanks so much. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I’m celiac , I once tried rice oats, they were horrible. I miss oats, as in porridge, but there not worth the pain. I had a really bad reaction to oats once. If I eat gluten, or get accidentally glutened, I have diarrhoea, pain all over, fatigue so bad I can barely put one foot in front of the other, brain fog, a gluten attack can put me away for days. I was 64 when diagnosed with celiac disease 🤷🏼♀️ so definitely no oats for me. I live in Australia 🇦🇺
Wendy, you might want to look into Honest to Goodness (NSW brand)‘s “Wheat Free Oats”. They are tested for wheat, barley, and rye so they don’t have detectable gluten, but they can’t legally say “gluten free” due to Australia’s stance on avenin. The oats we can get at Woolies and Coles are probably contaminated.
Omg 😱! Also, why do we always have to pay extra? 😢
I went to a cafe and they had gluten free bread, but said that it was contaminated so it wasn’t actually gluten free. Why is it ALWAYS a jacket potato?! 😢
Hey, I was just recently diagnosed and I’d love to know what are the usual precautions that you take at places like gelato places to avoid cross contamination? I’m really scared of eating anywhere outside of my own kitchen and it’s made me miserable. How can I eat an any restaurant, even just salads, when cross contamination exists? I don’t want to tell everybody I’m gluten-free all the time, that makes me really uncomfortable. I don’t like attention too much. Any tips?
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven the only answer the only savior and healer 🕊️💟✝️
I only took 2 weeks
Guys I’ve only ever been gluten once and when it happened I almost immediately started to get dioherrea and a really bad itchy rash then I woke up in the middle of the night and threw up like five times then I just wasn’t hungry at all for the rest of the week and I had to force food into me. I now my other symptoms are normal but is it normal to not feel hungry for like a week even though I felt fine?
I live in America where if I wanna find out if this is happening itll cost me 20 grand and no one will help unless that money is upfront as a down payment.. 🥹 so heres to self diagnosing because our medical system sucks 🥴
Posting this on April 1st is devious
But it’s real? :0
Nice video. Check out The Gluten Free Society. Dr Osborne is the next step for the medical side of Celiac
why do americans spell it celiac when it's spelled coeliac? coming from someone diagnosed.
They spell lots of things different 🤷♀️
I'm Gluten Free Myself and I want to Go to Japan.
I looked at the bottle of Bloody Mary mix (after I finished drinking one). WHEAT was listed as an ingredient. ZingZang Bloody Mary mix.
As a celiac, this made my day. I've been worrying about traveling and this made my heart happy. So thank you bestie <3
Thanks for this video and your happy demeanour. I’ve just been diagnosed at age 47. Completely shocked me and made me sad if I’m honest. My only symptom is tiredness but I always put that down to my job (shift work). Now navigating my way through eating gluten free and realising all the foods/drinks I can never have again. Hopefully will become the norm sooner rather than later. Cheers from UK.
Iconic 😍
🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it!
More Lincoln please! ❤
Thank you so much! Could you do an updated version, as well as Milk and egg allergy? 🥰🥰
Hey! As a lot of the places have closed down I won’t be making an itinerary until I go back next year. I’m not an expert on other allergies so I won’t be seeking out places that can cater to egg and milk allergies but I will make sure to include that information if I’m able to find out
@@howtocoeliac Okay, I totally understand! Thank you so much for the reply!
Did you have to do the gluten challenge. I was ordered by my doctor to eat gluten for 4 weeks so they can test me. Today is day one and I’m in so much pain and miserable and I have 4 weeks to go. Help what’s the best way to ease the pain and suffering from gluten.
Why does it look like a crime scene and feel like a horror movie?!?! 😭😭😭
Painfully accurate.
Lol so true... I was going to be productive today but I ate gluten last night so I think I'll just die today. I love it when it's gluten-free but it's not really gluten free.
It's so funny that the 10s of millions of people starving in the world somehow are never allergic to gluten. Gluten free is just a fad. Either you are the most annoying people on earth or you are liars. Just eat bread a few times a week till you get used to it. Everyone on earth eats bread except you special snowflakes. Just get your body used to it and quit being so fucking annoying wherever you go. For Christ sake!!!
I don’t want my kids to go thru this 😢
😅
i love the tomato n cheese sammich bUT it should be less moneys. only place i have found gf sandwich in is mns
Just done this... Then remembered hubby doesn't like this brand so has his own butter. 😂
Ooo id love to travel places but im scared of eating out coz ive been sick after each time here in the uk smh. this was a nice informative video. I love cooking my own food form different cultures altering the ingredients for my celiac needs
Yes you can develop intolerances at any time. I had NO signs or symptoms of coeliac disease and no family history but then wham.. developed in in my late 30’s. Now can’t have even the smallest crumb of contamination.
Coeliac here and can’t eat oats.. gives me issues just the same as gluten :(
new, preliminary study from Children's National Hospital published in the journal Gastroenterology found no significant gluten transfer when tools like the same toaster or knives are used for both gluten-free and gluten-containing foods
