Thank you so much for this, extremely helpful. I remember the days when traveling was so scary and a chore but videos like this made me so excited for my trip! So many places within walking distance of my hotel. Thanks so much. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
When I was in Portugal, McDonald was my absolute guilty pleasure. So many gf options that we don’t have at home. Swear to god, I ate there almost everyday lol
My Brother has coeliac disease and when i said to him come with me on vacation to Barcelona there you can eat McDonalds he was soo happy :D. It will be the first food we will eat in Barcelona :D
Have you watched Peter Osborne on YT. He is a molecular biologist and says Rice contains a gluten mimicking protein called Orzenin and Corn Contain Zein....be careful sweetie! Love your enthusiasm.
Rice and corn are absolutely fine for coeliacs! Grains all come from a similar family of proteins but it is not on the branch that creates autoimmune reactions. I’m always very cautious about people saying things like thjs as it can create unnecessary avoidance of foods that are really good for you ☺️Thank you x
I had gluten free maccas in Amsterdam just for the novelty. So shit but so good. I was meant to be going to Portugal (then the pandemic happened) and when I was finding my Airbnb I was trying to make sure it was near a gluten free McDonalds 😂
En Ville was Catalan/French but the tapas places I would have liked to try were closed or not in the way. It wasn’t intentional, I only ate where I could
As someone who is NCGS, I also cant eat GF Oats cause my body thinks its gluten. Do you know if much of the stuff would have oats in it too? Like did they indicate in the 100% gluten free places whether or not their stuff had oats in?
Depends where you are in the world! In Barcelona they are on the GF menu, they are gf in UK as most places have seperate fryers (but definitely check) in the US they are NOT gluten free! xx
