We lost OU last year and people called Texas frauds but they bounced back and won the big 12 and people said we still didn’t deserve to be in the CFP. Texas is not here to impress their haters, Michigan, Oklahoma, Arkansas programs with great success and just as great recruits had an opportunity to play hard and make a statement against Texas. However Texas came to play and dominated and people need to make excuses. Even if Texas were to win out I can only imagine the excuses that would be used against Texas. A&M lost to Auburn, Georgia doesn’t have a good QB in the SEC championship. This is the SEC y’all either show up or show out and so far Bama a former top SEC team didn’t show that on two teams Texas beat, nor did Tennessee with Arkansas or Ole miss with Kentucky.

When dumbass SEC fans bring up Texas schedule just bring up..... northern Alabama, southern Georgia, UMass, Bethune cookman, the citidel, mercer etc etc ETC. The teams in the SEC have scheduled multiple paid bye weeks vs teams that are D1 AA for a decade.

Easy fix. The player can no longer play in that series. If they are really injured it will not matter. If it is at end of the current series, they sit out next series. The big issue with college football is the money. Universities are not intended to be a forum for sports. The are to be educational institutions. All money should be used to make college more affordable. Universities sitting on large endowments when their students pay large sums of tuition. And they can fix every helmet issue. Take helmets out of game. Rugby players do not lead with their heads because they do not have protection. But college football is about money and branding. So none of this will happen. And students will attend schools they cannot afford because of things like the school’s athletics. Then you want loan forgiveness.

Sooner fan here. Noway would I ever stick up for the Short Horns. But I will always stick up for fairness. It was widely known that they had one of the easier schedules. But all any team can do is just play who's put in front of you. With the exception of 1 loss and 2 close wins, they've dominated their schedule. As much as I hate to say it, the Short Horns are one of the best teams in the country. In my opinion, they're the best. They'll either prove that, or they won't. We'll all see.
