Have yet to try the crawl control, but I just took my first road trip with family. Handled great and going up a steep grade with weight was easy with the new engine. I had a V6 Tacoma before, this engine is way better.

I had a 09 for 9 years v6, and this engine is far superior. Loving my 2024 Taco.

I have the same color as you, I waxed it immediately, I used mothers spray on wax it's a ceramic coating, and that'll really help it and protect it

Thank you for your videos very informative I love them. I love how meticulous you are. I just bought my Gen 4 TRD off-road Tacoma. I too had the Gen 3 TRD off-road and I had a 2022 Tundra TRD pro. I love that truck however I didn't want to be a victim to the engine dilemma so I returned it September 13th 2024 and I got the Gen 4 Tacoma. I'm pretty happy with the Gen 4 it's definitely an upgrade for my gen 3 Tacoma which mine was a 2020. But in a few years I'll switch back to the new Gen tundras I just want Toyota to get their act together with QC for the tundras.

Nah, way over priced. It is a turbo 4 cyl which does decent power, but kills the MPGs. So the real question is why drive a high stress 4 cyl engine when you can get a low stress v8 engine and get the similar MPGs and a full-size truck?

That “underground” color looks like a total disaster. Wow that would infuriate me with how easily it gets swirl marks in the clear coat. That’s a no go for me. That trucks brand new and it looks like that. Wow, imagine in 10 years what it’ll look like

I avg 14-15 mpg with speeds 62-65mph and I don’t exceed 70 mph , you can go faster but fuel economy will suffer ! And I always use 91 octane fuel no matter what to get the most performance out of my Tacoma , I’ve used 87 octane and it runs and feels like a dog !

When Car Play doesn't connect after remote starting, you don't need to fiddle with enabling it with screen taps, simply press the volume button and hold it for a second, the display will reboot and Car Play will be connected.

Does this allow the camera to work in parking mode?
