Looks good! The knot of the soft shackle should be up pointing near one o’clock when installed properly. A company called BPFabrication (In Canada I believe) makes front recovery points that mount where the demon brackets mount and use multiple bolts.
I don't know that I'd use the demon brackets for anything. Especially because you have to remove the one real hook to install them. They also look like your truck has nipple rings...
The Demon Brackets have only a single bolt attachment, but they’re sheer strength and especially torsional strength are supplemented by the bracket flanges, I’m thinking that they may be very appropriate IF you equalize them with a short tow strap and then another shackle to connect the kinetic line. I’d love to see a UA-camr test that rigging.
Nice 🔥👍
Great video

Have you tried to jack the truck with the rear recovery points? Looke like they're more than strong enough.
I have not tried but I have an email out to NYTOP who makes these to see if that’s something they would recommend. I’ll update when I get an answer.
Yes, you can definitely use them as recovery jacking points.
@@nytop Cool. I like this product as it gets you a recovery point up high. I need that but don't like any of the Tacoma bumpers available.
I like the rear tow points, but like you said, I would not recover with the Demon Brackets. Great for a normal tow but nothing beyond that.

@@AllTerrainFamily 🤣🤣 run a chain between them for the full BDSM look..
I have a 22 Off Road Tacoma with the back step on the driver side, would I need to take that off to install these rear recovery points?
I don’t think so but I’m not 100% sure
Do they bring a rating label or placard sticker in the nytop rear points?
No there is nothing physically on them but I believe they have rated them for 11k pounds.

@@marcoramos8447 I have an ARB one up front and for the rear decided to keep my hitch receiver one
Does anyone know if these will fit a 2014 Taco?
Cute
Can you use a jack on the back brackets to jack up the truck?

Yes!
Awesome thank you, probably might get one!
