I should have made it clear in this video I’m exaggerating every move so people can hear the attack/release character. Same thing I’m doing for eq, this compression is really really subtle. hey, i appreciate your answer. Does a7v have audiable hiss, at 0db level? So yours a8h was quiet? Mine do hiss audibly form over 3 meters, it is not very loud, I quess some people with diffrent hearing, might not notice it. Anyway for me it is distracting, so I arranged exchange for new pair with adam audio. I hope the will not hiss. All best.

Yeah iso acoustic are a great investment and the do help getting the speakers ear level which is important

Yamahas are good they just roll off at 100hz so its hard to use them as primary monitors. As secondary's they work

Yeah but price point wise at least, like the kali audios are super cheap but have so many dsp tuning options that would not be possible at the price range. Of course it would sound better to do with analog adjustments.

If you want fine tuning you can use sonarworks, but wother wise there are many options on these that i dont find sonarworks necessary

This causes issues I shouldn’t have to explain, but if I do, Googles a good guy. Second: If you have a single set of monitors properly set up, you shouldn’t need a second set. The first set should provide you with an adequate amount of clear and accurate information. If you need to check a mix, check it on speakers elsewhere. Check it in the car. Check it on your phone. A second set of monitors isn’t necessary when you have a proper set of monitors in a well treated listening environment. Learn a single set of monitors like the back of your hand.

The other set is there simply for an alternative reference or for casual listening, so BOTH sets don't need to be "optimally positioned" only the ONE used for mixing. Zero benefits going for the KRKs other then maybe more bass/noise. More, not better.

4th gen scarlets now come with rednet converters which only come in 3db of dynamic range under the RME at 120db / 123db of dynamic range. . For the budget, cant beat it. The clarett sounds even better but definitely imparts a sound and isnt as nuetral, but with the same / better dynamic range specs. The biggest difference is gonna be the drivers. RME is know for ROCK SOLID drivers, but if you dont necessarily need or care, you can get a scarlett solo 4th gen for $149 with almost the same dynamic range specs on the DA conversion

@@ju1ceaudioADAM recommends woofer on outsides. That’s a bit unusual for most monitors, but for these they should go on the outside. That’s how I have mine and they sound good and stereo image is solid. You can also make them vertical too, but I prefer the horizontal position. The vertical didn’t work for me, but to each their own.

80hz is the standard crossover bro. Every room is different but you can’t locate bass when it drops below 90ish herts. It’s called shrouded frequency
