This for this man, really informative!
Welcome!
Man GOD bless man great video I love your attention to detail and you are very well spoken and you simplify everything and speak with common sense THANK YOU AGAIN I still have the yahmaha hs7 but to me the hs7's are to bass heavy and dont translate well. Thank you again
Welcome bro!
🔥🔥🔥
Great review!
Please test EVE Audio SC3070 if you can. They are also 3-way with DSP. But I heard they are better than Adam.
I'm considering replacing my Yamaha HS8 with those.
Thanks! Yeahi contacted Eve and I should be doing a review for those soon.
I had them when they first dropped. The Adams sounded great. However, I kept having an issue where the A8H's would randomly shutoff & then power back on. So I sent them back and got the Genelec 8361a monitors. The Genelec's are completely on a different level and the A8H's don't come close. But the ADAM A8H's are phenomenal at the price point.
wow, how much were those? i need to upgrade my speakers im on yamaha HS8, not very good, not much detail, entry level speakers, can you recommend monitors for around 2k each?
@@guitarz99
Look at the Antelope Audio Atlas i8. I’ve heard nothing but great things about those. They’re a little over your budget but not by much. . Also the Barefoot sound footprint 02 ($2995) a pair. The Barefoots are little smaller. But they destroy the Yamaha’s.
I had some ex machinas im about to post in for review. They cost 7k but best ive ever heard.
@@ju1ceaudio
Yes… the ex machinas are awesome!!
@@ju1ceaudio
I definitely can believe the Ex Machinas cost $7k… My Genelecs cost $10k
In the 3k price range that they are for the pair would you recommend it as the best in that range? Or what is the best for that price in your opinion strictly for mixing and production in a professional environment
For 3k they are great. Build in dsp control, sound amazing, solid build. That is for mixing and production. For casual listening they can be tuned to fit your preference as well and still sound great tuned with more bass and treble.
What do you mean by translation for those who are not familiar with studio recording?
It means basically that the song will sound similar on all different types of speakers and listening devices. Instead of sounding good only in the studio, it will sound good everywhere.
maybe a stupid wuestion but what's the name of the holder under the speakers? i seem to be unable to find it out.
iso acoustic stands
i hear mixed reviews, i have yamaha hs8 was thinking about upgrading to these, not sure if its worth it? thoughts?
What I am wondering if they would be good for PC gaming?
speakers like this are designed for mixing, theyre meant to be flat, not sound good so im not sure if thats the right speaker for you@@Fighter4Street
You know what, you can buy 10 HS8s for one of these - these are significantly better, but over alternatives in their price range, who knows :D
@bigdoggetom6549 that was my question exactly lol
Would you recommend this for a 3mx3m small studio room for mixing ?
small room might be a problem unless you have alot of room treatment
@@ju1ceaudio I have at least 40% of the room treated. would you recommend this for mixing ? I have the Yamaha hs8 . Thinking of getting the a8h but also a mixcube for reference. Or should I just get the mixcube and stick with the Yamaha? What do you think should be the best way forward ? I need to better my mixes
Can never go wrong with mix cubes, if you have space i would go with the a8h and mix cubes
At 4.19... any reason you have the right box on the left side and the left box on the right?
I tried both ways, it depends on how your desk or stands are so you can get the sound right.
@@ju1ceaudio the only right (or left) answer 😁
I know that these speakers should have their tweeters facing the inside vs the outside position. Did you notice any major difference while
using them with their tweeters facing the outside?
I tried both ways but it seems the tweeter facing inside was the way to go everytime.
I forgot which video, but a Adam rep said for this particular model it doesn't matter. Kind of makes sense though for a 3 way. You have mids and highs close enough to your ears. It's seems like the room is more of a factor on positioning them further back, closer forward , more spread out or closer and more turned in or not to make that equilateral triangle.
A8H vs. your ATCs? What differences in sound, soundstage, depth?❤
Excellent question, and a great comparison, to see how the Adam's fair. ATCs are known for the excellent midrange and clarity, how do the Adam's stack up?
Would love a detailed comparison.
@@VenVile It would be great if it was an honest comparison of which speakers and which category are better and worse, and a detailed description of the differences. The community loses greatly due to sponsored or unreliable comparisons.🤝🔥
Yeah I will definitely make a video about that soon!
Hard to compare the two, But the atcs are leaps ahead in everything.
What are those big speakers in the back Bubba?

@@ju1ceaudio Nice! I am planning to get the A8H for multi-use. Listening to music daily while working and producing. Thoughts?
Hell yeah bro they sound super good for both critical and pleasure listening. They get loud too but i wouldnt use them out side of mid field and near field.
