As the trend of pure evil villains is at its resurgence, this movie keeps the good ol’ “sympathetic villain” trend going which I think it’s both a good and a bad thing. Megatron gets the strongest characterization and motivation in this movie, in contrast to Optimus that it seems like the story didn’t do much enough to make the audience root for and emphasize that his point is right (it even turned the audience against him by showing how much of a reckless troublemaker he was and how hypocritical the Autobots are when it comes to killing enemies. They killed sentient Sentinel soldiers with a smile on their face but suddenly drew the line when it comes to killing Sentinel himself). It’s the same problem with Killmonger in Black Panther and Joker in the Dark Knight (despite Joker being the pure evil villain). The villain outshines hero and it’s not even close.

Imagine being so butthurt that a popular UA-camr doesn’t have the same opinions or level of obsession with Star Wars or Marvel as you do that you feel compelled to write, voice, edit, and upload a dissertation about how his opinions aren’t completely cemented and backed by encyclopedic knowledge of a franchise. One thing that I was glad that it didnt portray Megatron as a cookie cutter misunderstood villain and how Optimus betrayed him. Megatron anger is understandable but that doesnt justify his actions

Megatron did nothing wrong, Sentient got what he deserved.

“Megatron is right!” Nah, Megatron is wrong about at least one thing though. He told Optimus that “This isn’t over, Prime.” But Hasbro has decided to stop funding future movies (to cover up their own incompetence), which means there will be no sequel. It’s over now.

Great movie, awful trailer. Hopefully enough people will buy the blu ray so it gets a sequel.

Hearing Transformers Prime theme music in the theater gave me chills. Amazing film.

Well luckily he will be gone by 2026 but probably the person who will replace him will pick up the pieces where he left off

I did enjoy this film quite a bit. The marketing team does need to be fired.

Republic comics kick butt

I don't have a problem with the inhibitor chips. Clones -Made with a genetic structure that makes them obedient. -Are still organic creatures which could develop free will as their minds develop. Inhibitor Chips -Strong pieces of the clones' DNA which will activate if a clone tries to refuse an order. -Is a failsafe in case the clones develop free will. It's just extra details, I don't think it ruins anything. It makes the clones more complex, sure, but it doesn't ruin the idea that Palpatine wanted them to be obedient automotons, waiting to kill the jedi at the right moment. Palpatine is smart enough to put every system in place so the clones will do what he says, and the inhibitor chips explain why clones that could've developed free will in the 3 years they've been around would still be forced to do what Palpatine wants.

You made some good points, but you seem to be more mean to Schaffrillas then I feel like he deserves. He's very likable for a guy that likes bad media. Calm down a little, dude.
