Did you block the water before the build? Or just do it at low tide? How is the whole structure going to be covered?

UA-cam presentation was well done but rushed and hard to understand at certain points. I would have liked to have seen a full transcript. Keep up the good work ERP and Chesapeake Parks and Rec. And thanks to the many volunteers!

while I think all these jobs are great and necessary and definately applaudable the Navy is the cause of many of the pollutions in Hampton Roads and they can do so much more on the topic of fuel and cost efficiency by implementing environmental saveties for use of fuel/energy usage in ships, planes, buildings and personel. Starting from the car running in front of stores just because it is col/ hot to aircraft fuel for their standard planes starting over Norfolk with a distinct trace (smell) of air craft fuel besides the noise pollution.

For the last 20 years, I have watched the Elizabeth River literally bring life to Hampton Roads. On the surface the Elizabeth River is a home to kayaks, sail boats, aircraft carriers, tug boats, and container ships. Underneath It is a home to dolphins, otters, crabs, oysters, and fish. And soaring above we have egrets, herons, and eagles. We all benefit from a clean river.

Absolutely great video for someone like me who is a history buff, a Norfolk resident who loves Norfolk and on that lives in a neighborhood one street away from a branch of our Elizabeth River where I crabbed and frolicked as a child! This also give me hope in the future restoration of this natural treasure! Billy Cook Chesterfield Heights
