Maury High School Surfrider Club, Norfolk, VA

The students in the Maury High School Surfrider club have done shoreline cleanups along the Hague and used the Surfrider litter analytics tool to better understand the types of litter left in public spaces. This will help the Surfrider organization better lobby corporations and agencies responsible for production of waste. They have also recycled 2,000 lbs! of material during their weekly recycling efforts at the school.
